It’s the very flat affect. It’s VERY off putting, especially in episode 2. She rarely starts any task with some gusto, unlike the other contestants. She rarely shows strong emotions. She has shared that she’s on meds for anxiety, and those meds can flatten affect for sure. But she plans and does tasks well, and is VERY funny, in a very dry and unexpected way. Not everyone appreciates that kind of humor, and it can be hard to wrap your head around if you’re not expecting that kind of humor.

To be honest...none of them are getting the amount of laughs as I'd expect. I don't know if the audience is smaller since it's the 1st season or if they just keep getting lame crowds. But I laughed out loud numerous times this episode and I was seemingly the only one...because the audience is so unresponsive.

Really annoyed with Jeremy Wells at the start not letting Paul read his apology for wasting his time note that was prepared in advance. It sounded like that was the entire punchline of the whole bit and he just cut off all the potential for fun. Astounded that Jeremy, Paul, and Guy had issues with Brynley lowering the egg before blowing it for distance. The rules of the task don't prohibit you from changing the egg's elevation whatsoever. Only that the distance being measured must be created from blowing. Vertical distance isn't even being recorded for the task so changing that isn't affecting the measured part. At one point Angella had the egg directly under the table's starting location, which would've been a total distance of 0 cm as well if that's where it had stopped or broken.
