Even though QR might have flogged the locos a bit they still did pretty well down here in Tassie after some persistent tinkering to get them into a everyday rostered loco until they started going into the GM direction and the EEs got lesser loved in the workshops.

Great video of the little "Rinky-Dink" railway, the island state that "Standard Gauge Forgot..." Spraying the ballast with water will not get the crew a tonnage payment! Aaah the long forgotten chatter of the Hasler-Bern data logger, that drivers control stand looks like English Electric too, great cab ride there Ted.

That was indeed an EE. Actually a ZB in Tassie land. I can never remember what class it was in QLD as I have always been totally confused by their class numbering

The class of locomotive was 2350 or 2370 English diesel electric with slight front cab window modification from Queensland central coal network line
