Man, your reviews always cover everything single minuscule detail about the gear. You must help so many people choose what they are looking for.

Thanks Ashley. I hope my content helps. When I first started I was always worried my content was too long however I've learned to appreciate there's others out there like like to know the details. This is the type of content I enjoy watching. I want to know what's in the pocket... what's the stitching like... what is the PALs set up etc. Hope you're well fella

Rain comment below.* Again a very good in detail review video. Think you've done a great job again my friend. I think a possible reason why they ditched the press studs is cause they fail in the field. If there's sand or dirt on them, they will not close anymore. Velcro will also fail when it's sandy/dirty. So Tasmanian Tiger redesigned the way to attach their pouches to molle with this new system that can handle sand and dirt. A very smart design imo. I have a Tasmanian Tiger Tac Pouch 7.1 since a few months. That's 25cm x 15cm x 6cm. 30 euro's but i got everything in there i need, wallet, other edc stuff. What i love about it that it's a clamshell design and i can change backpacks very fast. Come home from work eat, get the pouch, change backpacks and go for a hike. In stead of getting everything out of the organizer in 1 pack and changing in to the next and later back again. One pouch has everything. Lets make a pouch to sell, small, medium and large is good enough yes? What Tasmanian Tiger offers in pouch options is not done by any other brand. None. Have a look at the Tasmanian Tiger product range how many pouches they have. Think they got to 14 atm of all sizes and purposes, everything available in 5 or 6 colors. Same with their backpacks. Not just small, medium and large.There's a ton of sizes, colors and options and this modular system is brilliant. Love my TT modular 45+. *Nooo! It doesn't rain a lot in the UK. Fake news! I've been on an army exercise in Wales of 2 weeks at Salisbury Plain training ground. 2 weeks of fine good weather and the last day i think mother nature felt/smelt we needed some proper washing before going home to NL. Which was probably true btw. It started raining so hard and in 20 minutes the light for the bilge pump in the apc came on for the driver to turn on the pump. Meaning about 300+ liters came in through the open hatches in 20 min. Crazy stuff. You Brits have a special kind of rain. @moorlander, i can sent you some pictures of my TT tac 7.1 pouch and what i've done with it for edc if you like.

Brother, I love reading your comments (as I do all the comments - there's no favouritism here at Castle Moorlander 😄) The explanation around the press stud removal makes complete sense not you mention it. Perfect for civilian life, however these are meant for the best of the best out in the field. I've started to appreciate the finer details like that. Similar to the extra buckle I found on the LBT Inc £ day pack - there for those just in case moments. Couldn't agree more on the pouch front, and hopefully you'll appreciate this isn't a shill corporate line. I'm certainly not employed by TT, however their line up is impressive and they have you covered for everything. My favourite is the Tac Pouch 8, which when I first got it I thought was daft. Then it slipped into my pack with some items specific to my career and it's a staple now. I have two just in case I lose one. I'd love to see you 7.1 pouch.. I'd also like to chew your ear on some IFAK stuff. We can chat on Insta or email me photos at MoorlanderEDC@gmail.com ps. 100% fake news over egged by the media... My dad's welsh so I know for sure it never rains there 😄

There's websites that target mainly government organisations like police, military and ambulance personnel that actually sell the whole product range for Tasmanian Tiger. Not my website, don't work for them but i ordered my TT stuff there. Tacwrk. They offer over 900+ items for just TT. From plate armor carriers with molle so you can attach whatever you want, mag pouches, IFAK stuff, med inserts for backpacks, camera inserts packs, gun holsters, lens bags, pouches, backpacks, raincovers, clothing, belts, wallets, hats etc. Whatever you can think of, they made it and is available in 5 colors. What i like a lot about Tasmanian Tiger. Their open factory policy. Products are made in Vietnam in their own factories. They actually care about their workers and give them a fair income. No sweatshops and child labour. Transparent and you can see this in how well their products are made. Every product is made by people who actually care about the quality. Made by someone who is proud of what they make. You can see and feel it when you look at one of their items. There's so much attention to detail in the design and production. Check it out yourself guys, you can't go wrong on TT products. Do you want the best, get TT. @Moorlander EDC I'm going to send you an email with some pics of my TT tac pouch 7.1. And what i've done with it so far. I think this weekend. And I'm gonna sent you an email later to explain how i modified my first aid kit, why i choose that size and what's in it.

Thanks for this great review. I never thought that you can do an alsmost 20 minutes review about these two pouches. I like both of them, I use them on different bags and just was interested in your opinion. Sorry about the black colour I did not know it is harder to film for you, I think you made a great work by filming these pouches. Finally, as I mentioned bevore I just can say a big thank you for doing this Review for me. ( and as always - I need to excuse for my bad english ) :-) Regards Agabus

Don't worry about them being black 😅 how about next time I try to reply to you in German without using Google translate. It's been 25 years since I had lessons in school... Hello, thanks for this review. Do you think the new molle system can be used with motorbike ? I would like attach this pouch on a bar side. The old system is maybe more securised for this usecase.
@MoorlanderEDC2 жыл бұрын
Hi Jr All. In fairness both systems are pretty bomber and I haven't had any issues with either of them. I think it's just that it seems like a down grade of sorts, however the new one is still on there like it's been welded on 🤘 I think If you're concerned then grab an older version whilst there's still some around, however if they've ran out, I think the newer version will still be tough and immovable. I hope that helps buddy

Hey FT. thank you as always my friend. Yes, TT make a lot of gear. They're the main supplier to the German Military, Police and a lot more around Germany. It's all designed and developed in Germany and made in a custom build factory they made in Vietnam. We made a whole community around it there making sure all fo their staff were properly trained to the high standards they expect, and like wise, they make sure their staff are valued. You end up with amazing gear at a reasonable price... PS I promise they were my words, and not from corporate 😀 I knew of TT before I became an Ambassador. I definitely recommend having a good look through their gear. Have a great week buddy

i think the 4.1 is more high speed low drag or gray man rather than full on tacticool. also i love the fact you use the term pals not molle ( big differance i found out chatting to a usmc friend). good work and enjoyed the video, all mistakess mean its real not disney style .

Hi Gean. I appreciate that you picked up the PAL vs MOLLE. I always try to keep it right and often find myself correcting myself... more of mental slap on the wrist 😄 Thanks again for watching and commenting. Have a great week end stay well

Thanks for the review dude. The 4.1 appears to be a decent upgrade. I think the internal elastic straps would be better as a 1 large and 2 small setup. Does the slip cover make it slightly awkward to get things in and out of the mesh pocket? My HT urban admin pouch is getting delivered tomorrow, so I'll give you my thoughts on that one. I've also got the Civivi Trailblazer turning up tomorrow, so it'll be nice to have a new UK friendly edc knife to trial. Watch this space...
@MoorlanderEDC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Dan. I think you're idea on the two single and a double would a great compromise. I've got a few TT pouches where they have both option together. They have four single loops with a double loop sewn over the top of 1 to 2, and then 3 to 4. One of my most used pouched is the Tac Punch 8, which has these options and makes it incredibly versatile. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the other pouch and especially the Trailblazer. Civivi really impressed me with the Elementum, and I'm looking forward to seeing more from them Thanks for commenting

@@MoorlanderEDC Evening Fella, Just got my hands on the Trailblazer, and it's a beauty. You should definitely give it a try - as a UK friendly edc, I think it's right up there. Also, the admin pouch is exactly what I was looking for. Happy edc'er this evening!

Great Review! Question: Would you say the 4.1 would hold up to a belt very well? The attachment system seems so "loose" somehow. Thanks man!
@MoorlanderEDC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Tom. I was not convinced at first. If it's a standard style 1.5 to 2" belt, you can pass the strap through 2 loops, then pass back through the bottom loop and then back under. It's just long enough it'll pass under loop 2 which makes it harder to pull out. I hope that helps my friend

Do I see my patch brother there Thanks for the great video buddy The tac pouch 4.1 looks great and as far as most of the new features are concerned, I think it's great. What makes me a little unsure is the attachment to the backpack without the S push buttons. I would be afraid of losing the bag in the field. Besides, I love patch and I miss the fleece.
@MoorlanderEDC3 жыл бұрын
Hi Martin. I had the same worry about the attachments and then tested them out. For me I feel confident that won't come off... but that's for my every day use. If you're out in the bush? I think you'd need to test them more, however I think they'd be fine ps. I love this patch too
