I loved Palo dinner. The diver sole was exquisite. I’m so glad you went a la carte because the fixed menu is very similar to items you’d get at the main dining rooms. Between the two, I’d choose brunch as well but having a quiet adult dinner is very nice, too. 😊

The chocolate soufflé is by far the best but brunch wins in our family. For anyone new to Palo just do both to choose a favorite.

Chris, we had a marvelous time on our Wonder cruise in late October. Palo brunch was stupendous!. We had Sylvester as our waiter and he was also wonderful. Loved our first Disney cruise and may do another soon. Loved the Wonder.

I was in Ensenada on October 2nd and it was neat to see your pictures in the same place as my picture in front of the Ensenada sign! Long story short, my friend and I were supposed to go to WDW but Hurricane Ian was heading there so we made a quick last minute change in plans and took a Royal Caribbean cruise out of LA. We visited LaBufadora, which was alright, but your port adventure looked so fun!

Love this! The way you were describing the port issues though, we experienced that too! You would have to end up driving 1-2 hours inland to get to Rome, Florence, Positano, Pisa, etc. Stepping off the ship for the first time we were shocked bc it was all cargo ships but once we arrived in those other places, it was 10000% worth it. I will say Pisa was something else though. It's actually a military base and the historical part of the city with the leaning tower is protected behind walls. When you step inside, it's a big tourist trap with all of the stereotypical pickpocket scams in Europe. When you step back out though, it looks like an entire different world. Homeless people begging everywhere, there was a lady peeing on the side of the van we were on. Interesting to say the least lol would LOVE to go back though

Thanks!! And 😳 - Yikes! I don’t know if we’ll ever do a European Disney cruise. We really want to enjoy visiting those countries and not sure if visit from a cruise ship is how we wanna do it. That said, it is interesting, how some port cities are pretty incredible right after you get off the ship. For others, you have to go inland to really experience the people and those places.

Awesome! Where do you live? In Mexico, all prices are negotiable, so I think we paid around $10-$12 each, but then we bought a bunch of other stuff from her and rounded up because she was such a nice lady.

Man, if we would have known that Ensenada did a Taste of Mexico, we would have gotten off that port. I'm so happy you got to learn how to make salsa and avocado! A lot of Mexican places in the states love to over saturate theirs with lime and there's a balance to those things. What a fun looking excursion. I love the calamari from Palo. And I've never had the gnocchi from there and will be trying it next time. The first time I ate at Palo I also had the OB not knowing it was a baby cow 😭. It was good but it was also very rich to me and heavy. Back then the marrow was also served separately with the tiny spoon. I'm so happy that you tried the Amaretto soufflé even if it wasn't your fav! Getting all the desserts is def a fun way to find out what your favorite is for sure. I'd prob be like Carrie and choose the lemon over even the Amaretto because I love lemon flavored anything. Your girls just give me life I swear 😂😂 They're so funny with all their faces that they made before they ate. And my server also gave me Mango Soup to take away to our room when he found out that I loved it. Been loving all this series! Thanks for the shoutout during dinner. 🥰

@@AdventuresinMillerland omg yes! DCL caught on quick when people were ordering a lot of the menu since it was technically included in the price. I really miss the meat plate at Palo that was complimentary. 😭 But it will add up big time. We weren't able to scan a Palo reservation on the Wish so we're soooo ready to have it again. It was our first time not having it with our cruise. I wonder if Palo Buffet style will ever come back?

I can’t recall the prices, or the store name, only that the guy who ran it was very kind. If you walk along first st. (Calle Primera), you should see it. It was not too expensive; very reasonable.

Palo Dinner is my favorite. Will be trying Remy Dinner on Dream in October 2023 we have done Remy Brunch twice on Fantasy. We are get free Palo. having cruised a lot and being Platinum. We are booked on Wish Back-2-Back in April 2023 and will be doing Palo Brunch on 3 Night and Palo Dinner on 4 night on Pirate Night and Enchante Brunch on 4 night

Remy dinner is an incredible experience. One and done for us, but still worth it, we think 😄 We hope to try Remy dessert experience on a future cruise on the Dream or Fantasy! How fun to have a back to back planned!

Yup Back-2-Back is great. Will complete back-2-back on all ships after the did Magic first, then Dream, then Fantasy and last was Wonder in 2018
