Thanks for the video. A cup of water didn't mean just any cup in the cupboard but an actual measuring cup. It seemed like you might have put to much water in the eggs. And.. left the oxygen absorber in lol but hey! None the less thanks for the upload.

On the moisture absorbing packs, you can heat them in the oven for about 15 minutes at 200 degrees and they are good to use again. Just store them in an airtight container. Have some zip lock bags for leftovers.

Use 10-15% less water than recommended to begin with and you’ll see a huge difference in consistency and flavor

Having the ability to prepare the food in the pouch that it comes in is a big advantage, especially if you have to evacuate...no dishes/pot-pans needed. You could even eat it without utensils...just pour/squeeze it into your mouth.
@RobDaman3 жыл бұрын
yep. also if you don't have access to hot water you can soak in regular water but it will take longer
@femvetusa52633 жыл бұрын
Ready wise requires pots and pans. In several other reviews most of their other product it was nasty. In case of evacuation not needing those would make a big difference. Also, their bags are resealable, so you can save half and have it later.

Great idea! Buy a pack of 6000 spoons at Costco. That would last for years.

Adorable children...I’m glad you involved them bc that means no money wasted.

So Readywise and Mountain House you just have to boil the water and let sit, which uses a lot less energy. If those kids are really hungry they will eat Auguson Farms. Try the 72 hour bucket on them too. It has Oatmeal, Banana chips, chicken-flavored rice, potato soup and chicken-flavored soup. I think it's great to eat some of this food every week or month. Sometimes your body reacts differently and it's just good to be familiar with it.

You mentioned Jeramiah doesn't have any teeth. Do you think you'd be able to use the ReadyWise Whey Alternative to feed an infant or toddler?
@RobDaman2 жыл бұрын
good question. there's a lot of sugar in there so that should be considered as well as there's milk if there's any dairy allergies. There's a lot of baby / toddler powders for kids that should be considered but their shelf life is unlikely as long.

You need to invest in a set of pots.

In an emergency...having, using, cleaning pots...pans, lids...doesnt make much sense. Nor does cooking the entire package of multi serving bags. Without tasting anything I'd say..1 Mountain House. 2 Valley Food. 3 Readywise. Not having pots or pans could mean you dont eat with 2 of those.

Can get a sampler pack (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for $9.99 shipping and brought me here. The $49.99 an order (every 15 or 30 days) and that's between 30-40 servings. If there is a better deal please let me know. Well done video by the way.

@hhwin21983 жыл бұрын
They’re humans too and they will also get hungry during emergency situations. Kids are more picky than adults. Having kids myself I definitely appreciate kids’ input as well.
@pinkiepie16563 жыл бұрын
@@hhwin2198 but how picky are they after not eating for a few days:)
@Vbunny-go3 жыл бұрын
I would say the opposite. Kids are picky eaters and there not swayed by the value or technical specs. It's a true taste test.
