Hi Mikaela! Barista here. The reason you feel like you’ve had a strong cocktail is because of the coffee you usually drink daily! French dark roast is actually the weakest coffee you can get and doesn’t have a lot of caffeine! So drinking a bunch of medium and ESPECIALLY a light roast, your brain is probably zooming! Not only that!! Steeping coffee in cold water over night is what you call a “cold brew” and extracts even MORE caffeine out of the coffee than hot water does, so that’s making the effect even stronger!
