My biggest realization watching this game was how OP SC2 zerg is. Sc1 zerg was balanced. But it gets easily overrun by Sc2 zerg. EZ Queen defence + 20 drones at once. What a fair gamestate lmao

Broodwar zerg hasn't won a single game in this, it's way too slow and brittle to compare to sc2 races. It was considered the worst race for a very long time in broodwar, 1 lost drone early and you're usually dead.

You forgot free maphack and better casters, than broodwar zerg. For other races it is reversed, both terran and protoss from brood war have better casters.

Sc2 is not smooth.....its trash. Cant even play it since lotv. The only thing smooth would be being able to rally to minerals....multicommand....f2.....smart casting......etc etc gets all rhe advantages and anything that isnt an advantage gets nerfed for bw....

The balance of sc1 doesn't work when you're not fucking running groups of 12 around. It's a hard nerf towards micro strats so it's just not built to play at this mining speed. It changes the whole scaling and massed units were cheap on supply line but large swarms were hard to get down ramps and shit. It's just a fundamental difference in how fast the game moves so sc2 has more tools because it assumes you're going to go through stuff faster. Like mules in sc2 is just an entirely different kind of advantage in 2. Late game you can just land and mule out more safely and quickly. Moving your tank line with bw tank lines is way more all in than marine tank medics versatility and mobility

@@Bolsteen1 the game play isn't smooth. Your brain is smoother than sc2 gameplay obviously. Multi command doesn't make the game smooth it just makes it easier to control for people who suck.
