Alan Jackson's first antebellum mansion is my pick. I never liked the ostentatious, over stuffed mansions owed by celebrities, whether they be film or music stars. Just give me a 3500 sq ft 4 bedroom, 2 bath on 30 acres in the Montana wilderness, away from prying eyes and nosy neighbors. No pool or tennis court, just a nice walk-in smoke house, and a place to keep my dogs. Top of a mountain with plenty of trees. A nice 10 occupant horse barn, chicken coop, and sheep pen. Yeah, that's the place.

LOVE LOVE LOVE ALAN & DENISE JACKSON'S HOMES.... I detected some jealousy in some of these comments, we live in a country that's known as "the land of opportunity"... People like Dolly Parton, Elvis, Johnny Cash & Alan Jackson (to name a few) started out with NOTHING! They came from very humble beginnings, & are still humbled... What they do with their money is their business, I have no doubt that the above named people have been very generous with their money, they haven't forgotten where they came from... This article is "which country singer's house is your favorite".... It's a lighthearted article, one of those "oh, if I could pick just one".... Hey it doesn't hurt to dream, no one can take your dreams, right?? The article wasn't titled "what I THINK they should (or shouldn't) do with ALL THAT MONEY".... LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE!!!

Sometimes some people think it is too much for us .We all don't have the same tastes. Then the jealous ones will always think they can dictate how others live. You see how that works...Keep on working towards your dream. You know I remember Dolly talking about how she grew up and using berries to paint or stain her 👄 because they didn't have money.and using I think she said coal.Yes alot of the really good ones came from humble beginnings or their parents did. Saffron Wetter - But you DO, compared to others. To the poor in this world you are somebody who in fact DOES have everything. You: a luxury life compared to them. Why wait till you get one more dollar? Do you currently not let one child go hungry? Do you currently take the homeless off the street? Because if you do not do that with the luxury you currently have, you certainly won't if you had more money. Charity comes from a lifestyle, not a bank account. It's so easy for people to hide behind "If I had THAT kind of money"... to someone with not one cent - you in fact are - a millionaire. So what are you doing now for 'every hungry child'? Hmm?
