Thanks for sharing. 7 years, lots of patience and care has paid off. I lost my Suebelle Sapote, not sure what I did wrong. I am looking for another one, but in Texas they are hard to find.

Your garden is truly an inspiration! To have everything so green and healthy! wow Just WOW! I tasted my first white sapote 2 days a go and I was taken aback how delicious of a fruit it is! But thanks to you I even know what it is! If you can share/do videos of you trimming or giving recommendations of how to keep trees of "manageable" size...that would be fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing your garden!

My Vernon has always been my healthiest looking tree, and is flowering for the first time now. My Chris tree is the weirdest. The leaves always look discoloured and almost sick looking, but I understand this is normal for that variety. Is grows at half the speed of the Vernon right beside it, and receives the same fertiliser. Wilson also grows fast and strong.

Mine is doing this exact same thing but here in Southern California here in January. The Vernon. Usual to have big seeds---mine do.

Nice one, I tried these at the shops when I saw them for sale. I can see the potential but the shop bought ones weren’t sweet enough. I detected hints of coconut underneath the sweetness as well. I planted the seeds, and have seedlings now! If I can’t buy a grafted one I’ll try find some cuttings when the seedlings are bigger and graft them!! Thanks for the video.

My white sapote is about 2 years old and it is flowering now, do you think I should cut off the flowers? I can’t wait to taste the fruit
@gpabui52562 жыл бұрын
Are you planting them in the pot (very small) or you cut out the pot bottom so the roots are spreading free? Thank you. Enjoy your fruit of labor 👍
I actually have another Vernon growing in my nursery---it's about two years old now. A long way to go though.

All 3 are very sweet, only difference is the slight variation in taste.

@@kim-uyentruong3416 Hawaiian Supreme is my personal favourite but gets the most scale of all, literally on each leaf each year. Lemon Gold is the heaviest bearing and most consistent, Suebelle carries fruit most of the year and ripen when the others are done.
