Back in the 90’s the irish cadbury was AMAZING! Mint crisp, triffin, rum raisen, so many good flavours and felt bigger than the UK bars.

In England we used to have a glass and a half of full cream milk in the Cadbury Dairy Milk bar, it was a lovely taste, especially if you got a big thick bar, very unctuous. Now, since it’s been bought out by first kraft foods, then mondelez it’s been pants 🩲 compared to the original. I don’t buy it anymore just taste weird and sugary. Used to love a tiffin bar. Not as delicious as yourself,…..obviously Garron.😊

Ah, we had the glass and a half of Dairy Milk Chocolate here too in Ireland! In fact when Cadbury’s opened their first factory in Ireland in 1933 Cadbury Dairy Milk was one of the three products it made!

The one called the Mikado here, was called an ICED VO VO in Australia back in the 60's when I was a little kid so I don't know from where they originated. Chisps...( chips and crisps ) are both very healthy for you as they were vegetables in a former life.

These all looked so good! Some of them I could identify an American version" of, like the mini-rolls would be similar to Hostess Ho-Hos or Little Debbie Swiss Rolls. Both of which suck. What I noticed throughout is that your delicious chocolate-covered snacks are actually covered in chocolate, not a dark vaguely sweet wax like the aforementioned Ho-Hos and Little Debbies. Don't let any American trick you into trying either of those for your U.S. episode! I loved this and can't wait for Episode 2!

Speaking of which, they have brought back some of the sweets from years ago but not yet the Two & Two - I need a Two & Two before I shuffle off this mortal coil! :) Relatives in England used to bring back TK red lemonade every time they visited because they couldn't get it and American relatives always brought back Cadbury's flakes because the Irish chocolate was far superior than either UK or US :) Also Club Orange is the one thing I miss when I'm abroad. My son's off to Dublin next month (Ballina was full, obviously) so I'm giving him orders to bring me Irish Cadburys (Cadburys Tiffin was discontinued in the UK a while ago and it was my favourite) as well as Club Milks, smokey bacon Tayto (I'll take the risk of instant death) and Barry's tea bags. At a time when most biscuits are getting cheaper and lower quality the Jacobs Elite range really is a beacon of hope. They're so tasty I don't buy them cos I'll just eat them all and get fat. The salted caramel version slaps. For more Irish exclusive stuff I think we could have skipped some of the Cadbury's and substituted with Oatfield or Caffreys range. Those are tricky to find at times however.

Back in the 1970s, you could get Club biscuits here in Canada. My mum used to stick them in our school lunches, and they were absolutely lovely. The best one was the fruit and nut variety, in a crisp biscuit, covered in really nice chocolate. I'd get a cup of tea from the cafeteria, and dunk them. Prawn cocktail and cheese and onion crisps sound really good, I'd love to have them here but we don't.

The Dairy Milk Mint Crisp bar is delicious - they sell them at my local farm shop here in England! The Boost, Starbar and Double Decker, Snack biscuits, fig rolls, mini rolls we do get here in England.

Love your Irish snacks review. Made me very jealous over here in England. Especially jealous of the biscuit you didn’t try - The amazingly underrated Lincoln biscuit! The biscuit of my childhood. I can thankfully get them online - but at a premium sadly. I remember being able to get the Mikado, the Coconut creams and the Kimberley biscuits when I was young as well. Btw we ate the mikado ones by pulling the mallow off a line at a time, then licking the jam off, then eating the biscuits.

So being Irish I obviously had Banshee bones before.... However, whatever way you had it towards the camera looked fairly phallic 🫣🤣🤣🤣 A 12-year-old sense of humour is absolutely crackin' up

When i moved to ireland from england, i couldnt believe the variations ofnthe dairy milk bar. Tiffin...golden crisp....mint crisp and even the turkish delight... umm.

Even the meanies are far nicer then monster munch mighty munch course takes the lead for me out of them all an Thai rings! When garron realised the banshee crisp looked like a mickey after he described the lore of the banshee had me howl'n 😂.
