~ Beef Onion Stir Fry Recipe
Ingredients - Beef Marinade
• Beef 450g
• Soy Sauce 10ml
• Sweet Soy sauce 15ml
• Oyster Sauce 10ml
• Sugar 3g
• Baking Soda 3g
• Corn Flour 15g
• Cooking Oil 10ml
• Sesame Oil 6ml
Ingredients - Cooking Vegetables
• Spring Onion 5pc's
• White Onion 1pc Large
• Sugar 1g
• Salt 2g
• Cooking Oil 2tbsp
Instructions - Separate White part of spring onion from green part of spring onion.
Cook white part first with white onion wedges for two minutes. Leave green part of
spring onion for last part of cooking.

• Sweet Soy 20ml
• Oyster Sauce 20ml
• Chinese Rice Wine 15ml
• Water 40ml
• Chicken Stock 5g
• Cooking Oil 2tbsp

What's the difference between baking powder and baking soda?

Baking powder has less acidic ingredients in it and is better for cooking recipes. For this recipe use baking soda it's better for tenderizing the beef. Thanks for your question ❤❤

Does the baking soda give a funny taste to the meat, would it be better to use the baking soda and leave for 20 minutes or so and then rinse the meat to get the soda out

​@@t12511Yes you can rinse with water if you like. I've seen some chefs do this method. Original Chinese recipe only use a little baking soda like 3g so it won't be too noticeable. Rinsing is good otherwise.
