She used tri-tip, which is the bottom tip of the sirloin. But any beef will work as long as you slice it thin, against the grain and marinate it in the baking soda marinade, which will tenderize it.

I used ingredients made my gravy sepate. Brown my steak in the grill. Added German potatoes salad. Tossed salad . Ice tea or coffee . Dinner is done. Loved your secrets to making gravy . Soy sauce .

Hi Stacy, I made your beef and mushroom dish tonight and it was FANTASTIC although I did c flavourhest and used a combo of Shitake and brown mushrooms, found the Saki worked really well with added sugar and in between the different sections of the cook.
