TASTY OVEN BAKED TILAPIA| CARIBBEAN STYLE | SUPER EASY WITH STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
MAKING SEASONING (EPIS) INGREDIENTS
3 different colors belle peppers (small pieces like you see in the video)
4 garlic cloves
1 green onion
1/2 cup of parsley
1 bonnet pepper
1 Maggie cube
1 Sazon package
3 tablespoon of vegetable oil
CLEANING THE TILAPIA INGREDIENTS
7 pieces of tilapia fish
1 large lemon
1/4 cup of vinegar
1 tablespoons of sour orange juice (if you have it)
1 teaspoon of salt
SEASONING THE FISH INGREDIENTS
2 teaspoons of olive oil
1/4 cup of epis
1 Maggie cube
1 teaspoon of adobo
1/2 teaspoons of seasoning salt
1/4 teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning
Red, green and yellow bell peppers (cut up)
1 medium onion (cut up)
2 tablespoons of butter
1/4 teaspoons of lemon pepper seasoning
1 bonnet pepper (optional but suggested)
STEP ONE
Put
3 different colors belle peppers (small pieces like you see in the video)
4 garlic cloves
1 green onion
1/2 cup of parsley
1 bonnet pepper
1 Maggie cube
1 Sazon package
3 tablespoon of vegetab
Into a blender and purée it then put it into another container for storage as seen in the video (good in the fridge up to 6 months good in the freezer up to one year)
STEP TWO (optional)
Put 7 tilapia fillets into a bowl and clean with
1 large lemon
1/4 cup of vinegar
1 teaspoon of salt
Be sure to rub everything together as seen on the video. let sit for about two minutes than rinse off with cold or warm water (DO NOT RINSE WITH HOT WATER) drain all water from the fish.
STEP THREE
Season the tilapia fillets with
2 teaspoons of olive oil
1/4 cup of epis
1 Maggie cube
1 teaspoon of adobo
1/2 teaspoons of seasoning salt
Mix well until everything is well incorporated
Then add
Red, green and yellow bell peppers and
1 medium onion that’s cut up
Cover with aluminum foil and let the seasoning sit for 30 minutes if possible.
STEP FOUR
Remove the aluminum foil and put the tilapia fillets into a baking tray add 1/4 lemon pepper seasoning on the top of the tilapia fillets. Then add 2 tablespoons of butter and one bonnet pepper cut in half (optional)
STEP FIVE
Place the baking tray UNCOVERED into the oven middle rack at 350° for 30 minutes
