Math FAIL! These lattes are actually $1.25 each. The total recipe cost is indeed $2.50 and that makes each latte $1.25 not $1.75. I'm sorry we didn't catch this silly blunder and we unfortunately can't update the video. At least you know that the cost is even less than what I say 🤦♀

Watch until the end and tell me if you're a whip or no whip person!😛 What food/drinks do you look forward to in the fall?

I don't drink coffee, so I subbed strong brewed black tea. Next time I will cut down on the maple syrup because it was a little too sweet but otherwise it was really fantastic.

@@doloresk9412 thank you for trying it and letting me know you made it with tea. I’ll have to try that! I definitely prefer it less sweet too and I wonder if not having as much bitterness from the espresso made it taste extra sweet.

This looks so great!! I'm always looking for dairy free alternatives as I have a family history of Cancer and need to avoid the estrogen and BLV in dairy. Thanks so much for posting

You’re welcome ☺️ I’m glad it looks tasty and fits with your diet. I hope you like it when you give it a try! Thank you for watching!

I saw this video before making my coffee this morning, and because I already had all the ingredients I'd give it a try! Can't say I'd ever have thought of putting pumpkin directly into my coffee but this is really delicious!

Oh awesome! Haha I’m glad you liked it and I know, it is strange to add puree but the result surprised me too! Thank you for letting me know you liked it and I’m glad it gave you something new to try this morning!

I was trying to find the link for your coconut whip that you mentioned in this video. I found other KZbin channels that make it, but I’d like to look at yours.
@TastyThriftyTimely2 ай бұрын
Oh thank you! Yes I have a link to the recipe on our blog in the description of this video. I’ll link it here as well (tastythriftytimely.com/fluffiest-5-minute-whipped-cream-in-the-world/). We don’t have a video devoted specifically to making the coconut whipped cream but I do make it in this video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nWnPemaMZZeXqsU) if you’d like to follow along.

@@TastyThriftyTimely thank you. If I don’t want to use sugar, do you recommend anything else? Or can I just leave the sugar out?
@TastyThriftyTimely2 ай бұрын
The sugar helps to fluff up the whip even more but you can leave it out entirely if you’d like. The whip might just be a little less firm. You can keep a small dash of vanilla in if you want to add a touch of extra flavour to it!

I’m a no whip person too! Just love a good seasonal hot drink. I’m a big mocha fan, with oat or hazelnut milk, double espresso & dark chocolate. I do love the simplicity with this recipe Joe and never tried it with proper ingredients tho. Thanks for your inspiration, will definitely be trying this. Keep up the superb work. James

You’ve inspired us James! We just got in from a chilly hike in the woods and I made us mochas to warm up! I don’t think I’ve ever noticed hazelnut milk here. Do you have it for sale in stores or do you make your own?
@HappyHungryHibby Жыл бұрын
@@TastyThriftyTimelyyou can buy it here but it’s probably the mid range hardest to find. Popularity for plant based milk; oat, soya, almond, coconut, hazelnut, cashew, rice & pea. Personally, hazelnut is the best for coffee, mocha & hot chocolate but oat or soya works well too, in terms of not curdling and complimenting the flavour. You can make any of these yourself

Oh great. It’s nice to jazz up a hot chocolate. I like adding some cayenne pepper or ground chilies of some kind for just a touch of heat. I love chai lattes and London fogs with earl grey tea but come to think of it, I never make those at home. I should start! Thank you for the idea!

$2.50 / 2 = $1.75?
@TastyThriftyTimely Жыл бұрын
Ahh! Thank you for catching this 🤦🏻♀️ my math was indeed quite incorrect but the lattes are actually $1.25 each and the total recipe cost is still $2.50. We unfortunately can’t update the video file to correct this. I’m sorry for this silly blunder! I’ll leave a pinned comment with the correction.
