Yes, you can see the same growth as the market makes (even more). You have to do the trading the right way. That is it. 🙂

If you only risk 1% of your portfolio & your success rate is 30%, it's near impossible to wipe out months of profits. Play with win probabilities & risk percentages to figure out how to reliably grind.

Achieving success in trading requires significant effort, as it involves training your mind to counteract natural instincts. It means purchasing when everyone is panicking, selling when there’s excitement. I've been attempting for some time to increase the size of my 7 figure portfolio, but the largest obstacle is the absence of clear entry and exit plans. Any guidance in this regard would be much valued.

Diversifying your investments can help you manage risk while aiming for solid returns. It might be a good idea to explore sectors that tend to do well during inflation, like utilities or bonds. Also, seeking the help of a financial advisor could be really beneficial. They can provide you with tailored guidance and help you develop a strategy that aligns with your goals.

I agree with you. I started out trading on my own, following some random trends but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2023 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000

I've shuffled through investment coaches and yes, they can be positively impactful to an individual's portfolio, but do your due diligence to find a coach with grit, one that withstood the 08' crash. For me, “Laurel Ann Watkins” turned out to be better and smarter than all the advisors I ever worked with till date, I’ve never met anyone with as much conviction.

I've been making a lot of looses trying to make profit trading. I thought trading on a demo account is just like trading the real market. Can anyone help me out or at least advise me on what to do?
@Vandyjames
@Vandyjames 21 күн бұрын
Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies

I've found that a simple support and resistance model targeting pullback moves has been extremely profitable and consistent. I am averaging an over 80% win rate on all of my trades, with virtually no drawdown in the past couple of years with this one strategy. Should a trader in my position be looking to add more strategies to my playbook, like the iron condor? Or should I stick with the one strategy that has been working for me the past couple of years? Adding more options strategies to my playbook SEEMS like the right way to go, but is it? That's what I'm struggling with the more I watch your videos. Any advice?

Hello friend, I am in a similar boat as you. I have just added selling options into my strategy. My thinking is that selling is lower risk lower reward, so I am using it to diversify my returns. I do not think it is absolutely necessary, you do not need to fix what isn't broken. That said, I am choosing to incorporate selling strangles on large ETFs into my strategy. My thinking is it will be like a higher returning savings account. Time will tell.

If you don't like undefined risk I always recommend doing the wheel on stocks such as T and PFE. You can do this with a 5000 account. Why I recommend these in particular they are somewhat stable long term American companies in different sectors and they both offer a great dividend which is free money ! Cheers.

I always try selling bht it goes well for alittle and then i get screwed. Ppl say u win so much more often but i find the wins are so small and losses so big it ends up actually being MORE risky then buying options. How do they manage risk?

This has been my experience for several years now. I find myself always back to where I started. I truly believe in the idea of selling options, but man it’s tough with a smaller account. Most of it’s my fault because position size/risk is too big for account.

Of all the trading strategies, selling strangles is probably the worst. Constant adjustments needed to stay delta neutral, and a big gap up or down will inflict tremendous pain. Great if you own the brokerage though.

Tough to trade undefined risk in smaller accounts given you typically need to have the highest approval level to do so. And with a small account your broker is almost never going to give you that approval.

Why not just do straight Stock Trades. Why use Options instead. Seems like it be more riskier to use Options? But with buy a stock and say it does go down. You can hold it. Till it goes back up with out any penalty. And if that stock has Divs. you are still making money.
