1150kg- this car is 300 kg heavier than Swift and baleno(850kgs). 600 kg is for alto So for every 2 Altroz, Maruti will make 3 tin cars- swift, baleno and a alto.😅

Love the fact that it's a very original design.. Has a lot of character and uniqueness, unlike the korean, Chinese and Japanese car makers which borrow and copy a lot European cars... the build , fit and finish truly boasts of a premium hatchback.. doesn't have too much jazz to it.. love the colours.. When you take this Tata Altroz on City roads very first thing you noticed that, people's eyes started turning towards you. People's starts looking back at this all new Tata Altroz. It's definitely the eye catcher on roads. The Tata Altroz's shape, architecture and colour really makes the difference on the road. When open the Tata Altroz's door for the very first time, you yourself feels the heaviness of the metal as well as the feeling of India's Safest Car and why the Tata Altroz got GNCAP's 5 star safety ratings. And yes it is massive. And not only that, you get the same king size feeling inside Tata Altroz's cabin as well. Once you entered inside the car the very first thing you noticed that, Yes... it's specious enough. No matter whether you sitting in front compartment or in back, it is specious and also comfortable with style. Due to falt floor it's been very much easier for passengers sitting in back compartment of the Car. Even there are three peoples sitting in back compartment there is ample leg space available in Tata Altroz. For two peoples sitting in back compartment, the space available is fabulous with luxury like arm rest, rear ac vents, rear mobile charger, more than enough leg space and decent amount of head space available. For Tata Altroz driving experience, it will definitely set it's own standard in the class. As soon as you start the car you experience the heaviness of the Car. The Tata Altroz's clutch and accelerator pedal are very smooth and easy to operate. Same will be applicable for Tata Altroz's stearing wheel as well. The stearing wheel is also very much smooth and flexible to operate and it will get tough as per increasing speed. The stearing mounted multimedia, cruise, voice as well as other controls are very nicely and most importantly thoughtfully designed. e.g. Car's horn control is placed at both right and left ends of stearing wheel which is quite easily accessible than that of centrally placed. In same way cruise as well as voice controls are also placed exactly where it should be. The Tata Altroz's flat bottom stearing wheel is fabulous and gives it the desired sporty look. The Tata Altroz's driver seat is also comes with height adjustment. The Tata Altroz comes with very much premium features like automatic climate control, auto head lamps, rain sensing wipers, ambient lighting in front cabin, the most stylish wearable key, the umbrella holders in front doors and smart phone based navigation in instrument panel itself with voice alerts and voice controls. The Tata Altroz comes with umbrella holders in front doors, who thought of that in such car segments. But it is a very much useful feature specially in Indian monsoon season. The Tata Altroz driving experience is very much smoother. The car's acceleration, the stearing wheel, the clutch pedal, gear shifting, the break pedal and the cruise control are extremely smooth while operating. The stearing wheel and the break pedal gets heavier with the increasing speed which is very helpful for controlling the car on high speed. The Tata Altroz's breaking system also quite effective and does not allow the Car to skid even in high speed - sudden break conditions, this car didn't lose it's control in emergency breaking conditions as well as on sharp turns. When you put car on top gear i.e. 5th gear the car runs very smoothly and steadily that itself gives a great driving experience. Even in cruise control mode laso the Tata Altroz driving experience is quite admirable. However there are some things which I believe can be improved in Tata Altroz. First thing is Tata Altroz comes with projector headlamps however for premium class segment it should be LED headlamps. Tha Tata Altroz's seven inch touchscreen infotainment system must have wireless mobile app connectivity as well, which now a days very much useful feature. Also as Tata Altroz is comes in premium hutch back segment it should have digital real time tire air pressure monitoring system in instrument cluster itself. Due to lack of mobile app connectivity Tata Altroz real time GPS monitoring is also not possible, which is now a days very much important feature for car safety as well as for car's passengers safety. In Tata Altroz, the driver side A piller blocks the driver view specially while taking sharp right turn because of which I need to be very cautious while taking sharp right turn. The Tata Altroz comes with ambient lighting feature however this ambient lighting should be added in rear cabin as well, because in night time there is complete darkness in rear cabin. As the small light is placed in front cabin near rear view mirror it is not enough to provide desired light in rear cabin as a result there are some difficulties in entering or in exit from rear cabin specially for children and old aged persons. But I feel that being the premium segment The Tata Altroz should have ambient lighting in rear cabin as well. In Tata Altroz driving experience, what I feel for initial phase the Tata Altroz lacks expected acceleration or pick up as that of taking consideration of engine's capacity. Also taking consideration of premium hutch back, there still some engine noise coms inside cabin while driving. But still Tata Altroz is definitely the eye catcher on roads and satisfactory car for me.

I think the Nios from Hyundai is a very underrated car...the four cylinder petrol engine is quite good, the interiors are pretty dope and its refinement is topnotch. This refinement is something that Tata should give in their future cars.

Hardik Gaglani JTPs are much more than just more power. One would need to work on the suspension and steering as well to make it JTP. More over Tata cannot use the name JTP if there are no Jayem involvement in it. And their tie up would be meaningless if Jayem, one of India best performance tuners, is kept out.

Really good to see Tata coming out of its shell....For years it had a reputation of only fit to design cab cars.... But with recent Tiago/Tigor, Nexon,Harrier,Altroz....Tata is improving a lot..🔥🔥 Like he said...."Could win over those who buy with their heads"... Everybody wants Swift/Baleno which is basically the low standard in terms of safety..Indian mentality always wants mileage....and that keeps Maruti top at the sales figure....Hope this changes in the near future Also big thumbs up👍👍to Tata to score 5-star rating with Altroz🔥... Sir..you have nailed it correctly. 3 Cylinder head Petrol engine with high NVH levels is a big let down for such a beautifully designed premium hatchback. Baleno & Jazz both have much better rear seat space & comforts. They should offer 5 years warranty on major parts, 5 years RSA & 3 years free maintenance to install trust & confidence on the vehicle for their own customers. Hope they invest & improve their Service stn experiences to match Alfa 2.0 design. Since I have suffered the worst Service Stn experiences of my life with 2 cars in the past. Trust, Durability & Reliability factors of the past are not helping them put good sales nos.

Sir, Expectations in life cant be stopped. So is in this industry. What a marvelous product ALTROZ is for a customer. Excellent effort. Excellent design... genuine design...they worked on the petrol engine ...they worked on diesel. They made them BSVI, they worked on insulation. They built a platform which is 95.5% strong yet more comfortable and stable than that of i20. They give products at price ...no of these- copy me companies - can offer. Trust me, Tata is working on a road which will have lasting results..not just now.

1. Tata should change the logo for premium segment cars. Altroz, Harrier, Nexon all built on completely new platform so they deserve a fresh brand image and a new logo. 2. That infotainment display should be immediately replaced with a thin bezel one. This thick bezel kills the charm of the dashboard. Make sure at least a 1080p display to put there.

Having test driven Altroz I predict the sales might start reducing after 5th or 6th month because the its petrol engine's NVH levels way higher & its lacks refinements. When compared to Baleno's (K-Series) petrol engine. Drive mode is a gimmick it hardly matters. In fact on eco mode it fails to pickup /miserable low end torque & increase in NVH levels. It does have better ride & build quality than Baleno. 90° Door opening & customisation is a welcome feature.

A fabulous product by a fabulous team. Must say that the TATA ALTROZ is going to be a head turner for sure. As far as the review goes, it clearly states that TATA MOTORS has done a commendable job. I would surely be considering it over the rivals. Expecting the Turbo Petrol, High Tuned Diesel & the JTP version of the ALTROZ so that it can set the roads & minds on fire. Altroz based Sedan Will be better strategy by Tata to increase in car sales. Most of Indian family like sedan as family car.

As said by Autocar anchor.... there is some refinement and power required but kinldy note the car is made for India and for the people who can't afford 10 lakhs and above vehicles. We are very happy that price of the tata cars is pocket friendly and value for money. And TATA never ever give SAFETY as an option to you like other revivals. We need a safe car and affordable to maintain with lots of futures, fuel efficient and the best looking hatchbacks in the country. I'm not bothered about refinement and NVH on 120 KM/ Hr, I'll drive mostly between 60 - 90. If someone comments -VE means he never had a Tata car. If someone looking for world class refinement and power go and spend 15lakhs+. With lots of love a proud tiago XZA owner ❤

Tata is moving forward at great pace in terms of their products. But they are lacking a great deal in improving their dealership atmosphere, its so damn pathetic dealing with Tata dealership employees that it makes you drop the plan of buying a Tata product. Happened with me, and many many other people. It's one big reason people not buying a Tata product although they want to! Especially the cars like Altroz are focused at young buyers and young buyers need a professional buying experience, which is seriously lacking at Tata dealerships!
