To make the Exter suspension match the Punch suspension just add Spring Coil Buffers. It will make the suspension a bit stiffer, improve handling and stability and reduce body roll. I did the same and it very much better now. Very stable on highway even at 120kmph.

Both are great cars..some people prefer softer suspension from exter and some prefer the stiffer from punch for highway handling..I personally prefer exter suspension for the city.

@@autocritic Agreed. I drive mostly in the city and on the highway so soft suspension is better. Softer suspension also reduces road noise. Nowadays highways are much better.

#AutoCritic, Can you help me finalise which one should i go with.. My height is 5ft3inch and 80kgs, I test rode honda hness cb350, RE Meteor 350 and Yezdi Roadster. I liked the comfort on Meteor 350 and handling of CB350, styling and looks of Yezdi Roadster. My top priority is comfort and handling second priority is looks.. which one to pick I couldn't finalize please help me validate between the 3bikes.. As i live in hyderabad serviceability is not an issue and i will be using the bike for 90% city ride and probably 10% once in a while highway ride.. Yezdi updated the roadster for 2024 and does the new yezdi has slipper clutch? Am confused between the 3 bikes help me finalize

I feel everyone is getting carried away by unwanted features. I have driven both exter and Punch AMT. Punch is way better. Be grounded. Try yourself. Don't get carried away.

People should the comparison words very carefully.. punch and exter are not "way better" than the other. Both have their pros and cons and competition is wild between these two.

My question please: during PDI, I found rusting on bolt of the front suspension (top part where is it attached to the body) and Multiple other parts if we see from the bottom of Amaze. The car was parked from Octorber in the stockyard (Mumbai area). I am cancelling the booking.

The reality is Honda Amaze is way better than these two cars in terms of the iVTEC 4 cylinder refined engine, CVT with paddle shifters, 420 litres of trunk, spacious cabin, 4 star rated ACE body structure, keyless entry and highly comfortable seats. KZbinr suggested to buy Punch only due to SUV reason given by the user.

I have been a tata car owner for the last 6 years, I would say tata's 3 cylinder petrol engine is very lazy to cope with traffic. You need to push the car, which results in bad fuel milage. Even my younger brother has Altroz 2022 model, and the same issue weak engine, in summers you have to forget using AC coz with AC on car will not run. The same goes with tata Gear Box they are not refined as Maruti Honda or Hyundai, and worst of them all Tata has bad resale their cars deprecate allot, if you drive over 50-70 kmpl mostly on highway then go for any diesel or CNG engine that will be economically better choice, and regarding gear box I would suggest you to go for Manuel they are better suited to highway driving still if you prefer automatic then select CVVT or Tork-convertor . These are suggestions from someone who has worked in the automobile industry & owned many cars in India & abroad, rest is up to you.

Thanks for your suggestions Have decided to go with a Maruti car only. Test drive both Tata and Hyundai. Punch feels better, however resale value is bad. I have driven I20 for last 6 years. I am very un satisfied. It gives lot of clutch issues.

Funny.. Fans of exter saying exter will get 4 or 5star.. It will not happen.. Everyone saying smooth driving with 4 cylinders and soft suspension. Just anyone try 120 kmph speed.. Just one spreed breaker will ruine your life. Soft suspension is Very dangerous. Only city drive, i welcome that.
