I have bought MG Comet EV drove it around 5000kms, pros: small car, big cabin space.. 4 can seat comfortably.. Comet is a good electric car providing over 170km of real world range .. In city with Full AC and 10-15% battery left after covering 170km.. cons: 2 doors, but easy in-out for rear passenger , slow charging but new 2024 variant have 7.4KW Home fast charging , no more cons

Sharing my experience: Sir, I have bought Punch EV LR variant 3 months back. Day by day, the range (with AC on) increased from 250 to 300km (with energy efficiency 110-120). We live in north India and during extreme hot weather (40 degree+), the range decreased to 200-210, and energy efficiency increased to 160 (shocking). The climate system is consuming more battery (what I have observed!). Means, range has now decreased from 300 km to 200-220 km, i.e. more than 80-90 kms, which is a big figure! On the other hand, my driving behavior has improved from 7 to 8 (so range should increase, right ?). I drive at an average speed of 40-50 km/hr. My daily kilometer calculations are being disturbed and now I am charging my car 3 more days in a month (consuming more electricity). This reduced range issue is also with one of my known, who is also using same PUNCH EV car. One thing more, this issue is not with my friend's Nexon EV, as it's range is reduced by 30-40 km only (during peak summers). Sir, I have approached Tata, but their response is not satisfactory. I have also shared my driving behaviour figures, range display screenshots with them. What to do, please help!! (Still lot to say....)

This is notexpected of Tatas. I love and admire Ratan Tata ji for being true Bharatiya. He comes out with good and appreciable products but as this owner is saying that Tatas do not have spares like mats and other accessories. In some other videos people do not seem to be happy with Tatas service of the cars. It really hurts. Tayas have come along way in giving good products to the nation. But these small small things put Tatas down and it hurts again. So they should look into these matters and make sure to keep the customers happy. A good management in showrooms and service stations will be a boost to Tatas. Hope they pay heed to the requirement.

मैंने Tata punch ev adventure long range ली है जिसकी फुल चार्ज पर कंपनी 421 किमी कि रेंज बता रही है पर मैंने जिस दिन ली तब से आज तक इसमें 300 से ज्यादा रेंज नहीं देखी और फिलहाल हालात ये हैं कि गाड़ी 260-70 कि रेंज दिखा रही है बस और फिर पता किया तो पता चला जैसे जैसे बैटरीज चार्ज होगी तो उनपर लोड बढ़ेगा तो आगे आगे रेंज कम होगी ज्यादा नहीं हो सकती और फिर एक समस्या ये भी है कि चार्जिंग एप में चार्जिंग स्टेशन देखकर वहां पहुंचते हैं गाड़ी चार्ज करने के लिए तो आगे जाकर पता चलता है कि एप में तो स्टेशन सही दिखा रहा था पर ये चार्जर सही से काम नहीं कर रहा गाड़ी में कनेक्ट नहीं होगा तो दुसरा स्टेशन देखना पड़ता है तो टेंशन हो जाती है कि क्या मैं उस स्टेशन तक पहुंच पाऊंगा और सबसे बड़ी बात साथ वाले परेशान हो जाते हैं और जहां जाना होता है वहां तो लेट पहुंचते हैं और बाकी दुसरी जगहों पर दर दर भटकना पड़ता है चार्जिंग स्टेशन के लिए और मैन बात गाड़ी फुल चार्ज करने का स्टेशन का खर्चा आता है 800 रूपए के आसपास और गाड़ी चलती है 250 किलोमीटर के आसपास तो इससे सस्ता तो cng पड़ जाता है और फिर 160000 किमी कि गारंटी है बैटरी कि उसके बाद अगर बैटरीज खराब हो तो सब का कुल खर्चा सात से आठ लाख है और मेरे 160000 किलोमीटर लगभग डेढ़ दो साल में पुरे हो जाएंगे मुझे लगता है तो अगर आपको चाहिए तो मैं मेरी ईवी देने के लिए तैयार हूं कोई भी ले सकता है

punch has very bad interiors.. has very bad looking, 3rd grade black plastic on the dashboard and doors etc. the touch buttons look cheap and are inconvinient to use while driving the car. seats are very uncomfortable, even if compared to cheaper card like i10 or i20. i didn't like the car much. The LR variant seemed like a bit overpriced. Tata doesnt provide any information about the annual depreciation, above which a customer can expect tata to fix the battery. nor any information is available on the repair cost of batteries. For example, if you wanna know the cost for replacing 10 percent of the overall battery cells, that information is not available with even their sales or services teams.
