I own a Punch and the AC is excellent...even when the car is parked for hours under the Sun..it hardly takes 5 minutes to cool down....also the door opens 90 degrees is one of the most wonderful features...I had to take a patient to the hospital and placed him comfortably in the rear seat...had this been any other vehicle the same would not have been possible.

Thanks a lot for the video. Very informative. I noticed one more issue in my friend's Altroz, the door lock from within car can be easily unlocked by children. Its comon sense, this should have been tackled properly. Can you please confirm if the same issue is there with Punch? I currently own the new Hyundai Santro and was thinking of upgrading, and I am not a SUV fan at all. But I think all the TATA cars apart from build quality/design not a value for money purchase and are flawed.... I was thinking of considering Amaze VX, i20 sportz, Baleno zeta, Punch/Altroz. But if that lock issue is there, then I will drop both the TATA options.

The reason why Aircon could be ineffective is because there is a default heating that the air goes through before it is cooled. My punch was taken by Tata to conduct extensive troubleshooting and measured the air temp with just fan on (with a/c off) there is a gradual heating that happens , the air got to 45deg C while outside airtemp was 26deg!! All the while the knob was kept towards full cool side. There is a serious Aircon flaw with Tata punch.

I am also facing some issues in my tata punch.. abhi October me Li hai.. but abhi se issue Ane shuru ho gye hai.. agar engine band karke fule bharwao.. or uske baad car start karo to gadi me kilometres update nhi hote.. milage update nhi hote.. baat karu breaking system ki to highway pe agar 80 ya 90 ki speed pe achanak break Marni padh Jaye to break missing Marti hai.. ekdum se break nhi lagti.. fule bharwane ke baad KMS bhut jaldi jaldi drop hote hai... Gadi RPM bhut uthati hai.. for example agar mene first gare dala or Bina race diye thoda sa clutch choda to gadi ka rpm apne aap 950 se 1200 tak pahuch jata hai . Aisa to kissi car me nhi hota apne AAP rpm uthayegi to but obvious hai ki gadi fule zada piyegi..

No Arm rest, cabin roof light, back seat headrest and the door lock really put a dent on punch image. Such a good car but these small shortcomings are visible to naive users as well who dont know about cars much. Sirji, your terminology pertaining to head restraints has to be upgraded from head rest. They are serious safety related components. Citroen C3 model variables 2nd row centre passenger head restraint and seatbelt equipment is not acceptable. So the same with many manufacturers. Please focus on safety issues of passengers cars.

I have Tiago BS6, it does not have 90 degree door opening but I think I should have gone for Altroz for that feature only because my father had a paralytic attack on his right side and he is not able to walk like he used to. While sitting in Tiago, there is some issue but I don't think there will be any problem with Altroz or Punch. So yes, 90 degree door openings are practical for senior citizens and people with some physical problems.

I have taken Tata Punch from Jhadewalan Delhi but it seems that I have made some mistake with Tata car, only showroom people harassed me. The delivery was late, that day the whole program of the house was late, the Jesus of the door came in the car, the doors were not closing but 1 km. No answer even after being away, 2 days without car, door of car remained open, but no solution came out from showroom and company, even when plate was not received, whenever I called, got answer, it is installed yesterday and call tomorrow Do it. The man is on leave, everyone gives different answers, so I found Tata's service worst, till now God is the owner, how will he give service

And yes if buying tata then definitely extended warranty is required. We cannot just say build build baki kuch nahi. If one wants build then go for Taigun VW build aur finish sab milta hai. Abhi toh maruti had good build on Baleno and Wagan r I have seen looks superb. However again in terms of pricing baleno loses against i20

No bro, I own one punch to understand that u have to take a test drive and take this car to steep road the break in the middle of that steep and now try go ahead... the punch won't go forward instead it will come back.... I bought full option and gave 10.23 L on road.
