It's time to send some cones flying once again! This time around we have the Tata Punch returning to our test. This time though it takes on its first real direct market rival, the Citroen C3.
Will Tata reign supreme or will the C3 manage a French win to help French fans forget the disappointment from the World cup 2nd place?
It promises to be a close battle. And to ensure things stayed as fair as possible both test cars have manual gearboxes and the Citroen is sporting its naturally aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine, the lower powered of its two engine options.

On both punch is 70+ kg more heavier hence braking distance increases but build quality and toughness is more in Punch. Extensive use of high strength steel,Hot stamp BIW structural pannels,Advanced restrain saftey components,Crash locking tongue for saftey occupants hence its punch a tough guy in it's segment.

Citroën should have got the automatic variant with better interiors and electronics, this would have really put the car atleast in same competion boat ( swift , i 10 ) etc . Cant believe Citroën lost the ride quality test , they are famous for their suspension.

The Citroen actually rides really well for as a city car, and is better than the Punch in this regard. Like we said in the video, it's when the road gets really rough that the Punch manages to cope better. Also it's not a night and day difference between the two. They both are comfortable.
