It's a great vehicle, but I doubt many Indians will like the closed cabin approach of Sierra. It can compete with the hard top Thar tho, which is more or less the same.

This is a car which attract almost every people of India due to the amount features and space it offers with muscular and macho road presence+ the exclusive rear glass area is a nice looking element ! We all know that almost every people want the sierra back 🤝 but still its a suspense for us that this gem will come in future or not ! 👀well the concept of sierra is now 4 years old and still there is no clarification on that ! Missing old tata with a badge of ruggedness and pure "SUV" nature

We had the OG naturally aspirated one. We've covered most of India in this car when we were kids. It had a great AC, and these alpine windows made it seem like you're sitting in some luxury car with so much space and height over the road. Was a mile muncher on highway with almost 15/16kmpl on diesel which was remarkable. The only drawback was that Telco mechanics and service centre guys knew only how to repair tata trucks but not this gem of a Peugeot engine and they would screw up the car. India didn't have good engine mechanics as well during that time to handle this car.

Sieraa was ahead of its time. the design for sure and features. Maruti should have learnt from tata in that when they were just provided a bkx with tires and engine like gypsy and others. Tata should definitely bring back Sierra in modern avatar and I heard they r doing same but as EV. But it should match the finess of LR and robustness of LR and jeep. No craftmanship errors what people are seeing in new safari and harriers.
