All the best for the purchase Brother 👍 There is a 6 or 4 PIN connector to install your music system but apart from that for everything else wire needs to be cut or peeled. We do need to install basic things like, parking sensor GPS etc so no other option than using the small coupler ( To connect two wires without cutting them but it makes a tiny hole in the wire to make the connection).

Brother, Tata has given a 4 PIN connector where you can connect music system, and you can connect tweeter , bass tube etc with that but to connect the other accessories coupler or small wire connector can be used but that connector also makes a tiny hole in the wire so risk to void the warranty is there.

Warranty will sure be voided if wire is cut or peeled so always try and use the safest way... take the connection from the fuse box or use the connector.

Bro we should never put DRLs in car with conventional headlamps ( normal headlights ) as doing that will spread both the lights which doesn't look good . But ya changing headlights to projector headlamps will work

Many people misguide and too many KZbin videos from car modifiers, coupler to coupler connection or modification in wires are risky looks like. It is true that when considering modifications to our car, it's crucial to remember that peace of mind is more important than additional luxury. I checked with Tata dealership. Honestly, if you have good relationship with them then they will help you and may ignore these type of small issues. I used clips/wire connector to use all the accessories and I was never asked a question and I was helped for small issues. GOD forbids if some big fault happens then they also may ignore it. So always be in the safer side.

Brother, wire was not cut, it was peeled off instead. About the warranty, you got to talk to your Tata service advisor coz warranty is a vast topic and its coverage depends on the situation.

Brother, Fog light is connected to parking light and DRL is connected to the ignition. Please make sure to use the couplers instead of cutting the wires to avoid the warranty breach. All the best Brother !

Brother, DRL is connected to the ignition and fog lamp is connected with the parking light switch. If you are planning to install these, please install the switches to turn it on and off according to your choice. I am looking for the good switches to install.

Brother, Tata original DRL+Fog, which costs 13800, will replace your fog lamp. The one I installed is after market and dead cheap only 1300 with installation. So far it is working wonderfully from last few months.

+milantm24 - I was worried about the same, so he applied the some kind of gum with the double tape. It also has the clamp which we can use to make it more stable. And he assured me that it will not fall from the fog lamp socket. I will keep an eye on it and do update the post.

Any wire cut and peel will void the warranty unfortunately. Even scotch lock will void the warranty. Its one time investment so if you want keep piece of mind then go for Tata only.

I am torn between this Tata DRL fog lamp and the aftermarket lamp. The only thing I'm considering is the throw of the actual FOG lamp. Coz I have seen aftermarket fog lamps often proves to be BS functionally. In order to look cool and save some money, I don't want to compromise on functionality. So are you happy with the throw of the fog lamps???

Brother, throw of the Fong lamp is zero infact. DRL looks good and fog lamp is just for the show. If you are looking specially for the fog lamp throw, go for original DRL.

+Irfan Mir - Thanks Bro, System frame should not cost more than 300 to 400 but Tata or other car accessories shop will charge you between 1000 to 1300. I got 6.5" DD speakers installed in my car. Actually they will install the hard rubber frame first so that the speakers does not vibrate and then fit your speaker in that hard rubber frame.

I m using Tigor, but the headlamp unit's power isnt that good for night drivings. And while i asked the TATA people they say it's as per government order, but if we add new bulbs, or LED lights will it cost the warranty and insurance? Or is there any other way to handle this? Brother, your situation is unique. All the cars like Tiago and Tigor does not have any issue with the headlight intensity but if you find that your car's headlight is not bright enough then you got two options. Either talk to Tata service and raise a concern, rem that 12 volt car headlight can have max up to 60 to 65 volt, so if they say it is a govt order let them know this. Else you can look for after market headlights but rem that, 12 volt car can have 60 to 65 volt.

Brother, this one is just for the good look, light is very very poor from the Fog lamp. If you want a good fog lamp with DRL, you can go for Original Tata's DRL+Fog which will cost you 13800.

Brother, As you know that the warranty is complicated, there are lot of fuss about it. What we know by the book is, no wire is cut or peeled, your warranty is intact. The only issue could be he life of the LED light, I am not sure how long it will last so I am going to do the check on it and keep updating on the discription. Further we can chat in WhatsApp 😀

Brother, it's DRL+ Fog lamp but it's just for the look ... Fog lamp is not that effective. If you want you can try Tata original DRL+Fog .. bit costly though, 12k

Yes clipping if it's visible can be an issue. Can use the connector which makes a very tiny hole in the wire to join the wire and once it is taken out hole is hardly seen .

Yep Brother, any wire cut or peel will void the warranty if something goes wrong. So always make sure to do proper wire insulation and always use pin connectors.

Actually it is a little bit tricky as it might void the warranty. Using the connector while installing these will be the best solution to avoid the warranty issue. Mine is working fine without any issue from last few months.

I am not sure but one of our channel mate mentioned that "according to tata or any manufacturer company mention that, should not skin or remove the main wire loom and use wire sockets to attach any external accessories". I will dig deep further about it.

Yes Bro, if you talk about the dash board ignition portion, there are one 8 or 10 pin female connector given by Tata to connect your music system, i did not remove the skin the wire from that wire. Another male connector was used previously when i installed the music system. i removed the skin from that connector and did not make any alteration on the connector provided by Tata. I remember that the skin of the wire was removed on the parking light to connect the fog light. I need to fix that. Now i read the warranty terms on the manual given by Tata, this is the only point i found which talks about alteration - "This warranty shall not apply if the car or any part thereof is repaired or altered otherwise than in accordance with our standard repair procedure or by any person other than from our sales or service establishments, our authorized dealers, service centers or service points" I will get more clarification from the Tata executive soon.
