Note the difference in their stances. Master Lema maintains a firm grounded stance with which to deliver hard and fast strikes while master Ilustrisimo focuses on evasive shifting footwork and targeted strikes. Different philosophies, but deadly all the same.

From what I know, this video was taken in Manila. Mang Ben Lema and Tatang Illustrisimo relocated to Manila in their later years. It is in here that they mingled together, and also their groups. It is also important to note that Mang Ben came from Western Visayas and Tatang was born in Cebu, the "heart" of Central Visayas (though he traveled and grew up to and in a lot of places). Any claims of both masters meeting when they were young are unfounded. Some old-school practitioners of LSAI and KI who were lucky enough to "reach a time" when both were still alive (like Prof. Bot Jocano) would attest that both groups and teachers were very close to each other. Even today, I would say, some LSAI groups and teachers maintain a close relationship with KI groups and teachers. Edit: I would also suggest watching this.
