Me too! But as you say they were too different for Tatanka to back off from his gimmick. It's an Indian warrior gimmick, obviously not picked randomly but appropriate for an actual Indian, so it would be silly to back up from the fringed boots and postures of prayer to the heavens for strength

that no good Million Dollar Man bought these people, only to have a lot of them vanish soon thereafter. Once he left the WWF, Tatanka was done...he should have never given Ted his price.
@AndrewNewZealand3 ай бұрын
In fairness they may have felt that he wasn't moving forward as a face and that a change was due. A good start I guess, he pinned Lex Luger at Summerslam '94 en route to turning heel, but yeah he stalled as a heel too. Some have suggested he should have won the IC belt from Shawn at WM9, the match was a push of sorts for Tatanka as he got to hit Shawn with his finisher (only for Shawn to be DQ'ed for shoving the ref earlier...or was it a countout?), but I think Jim Ross said it didn't really help Tatanka at all and that he should have won the belt.

@impossiblescissors Yeah a kind of "I realized I needed to get ruthless to get ahead!" he wins the belt from Razor Ramon with help from DiBiase's MDC, Jeff Jarrett's IC push is delayed. Why did Shawn need to win the IC belt in '95 anyhow?
