My experience at Nobuya-san's workshop is one of the most memorable thing I've ever done in my life and he is such a nice guy. I recommend anyone who has an interest in blacksmithing or even cooking to visit him once in their lifetime.

fascinated by these techniques and methods. Mostly fascinated with the Japanese culture. The process and passion of the Japanese tradesmen, carpenters, blacksmiths etc. etc. is at a level, and has been for hundreds if not thousands of years, that the rest of the world just doesn't seem capable of. Although it's more than likely the willingness of one's self to be consumed with ones craft. consumed in a level I feel must be spiritual at it's purest level. All that said, is it possible to translate text on KZbin? anyone?
