Yes, Dr Dray tried the Some By Mi Panthenol line & she said that line is pretty good. But it just goes to show that especially since Tatcha got bought by Unilever, how the quality is slowly declining. I always thought Tatcha was overpriced anyway for what they offer. So many other product lines that are better for your skin & way less expensive.

Fragrances in skincare makes me so mad. A friend of mine used to have Dior skincare and the full Abeille Royale skincare line from Guerlain and I had to tell her to look up how much Fragrance is used and how irritating it can be and how unnecessary it is. Not sure if she used them all up, but I couldn't

It's really an old world aesthetic that the French specialized in, the idea one should have wafts of fragrance in all products.

Yes me too!! I just used the farmacy green clean cleansing balm and my skin is so damanged and it hurts so bad! It makes me so mad!! If the ingredient is so irritating where you legally have to list it separately outside of the word fragrance (linalool, citral etc) why even use it! Why is it so common !!

As a skincare chemist I must admit that there are high quality fragrances that are less irritation (but still slight chance of making someone sensitized). Luxury skincare normally have fragrances some developed in-house because most raw ingredients come with quite unpleasant scent. Luxury brands target higher spending power customers so I believe their research team do lots of testing as rich people aren't that easy to deal with when it comes to skin complication.

It’s sad that probably 90% of ppl who buy this will see “retinol” alternative on the package and think it will help them w/ anti aging. Read the ingredients! This brand has always been overrated and overpriced.

Linalool & citral in a cleansing balm actually totally messed up my skin. I’m still recovering and I’m so upset. I don’t know why they would put those is any product when there’s so many other less irritating (still irritating none the less) fragrance ingredients, like you’re telling me you need to use those to get your product to smell good?? Yea I don’t think so.
