+Hayley Pflug I just bought the blush trio and the primer. The trio does work but the middle shade gets lost in between the other shades and it's a subtle color but can be built up. I like the new products but look for the ones that have an instant $4.00 off coupon because they are pricey.

I got the light and your review of it is spot on to what I had come up with. In the pan, the contour looks like it might work, but on the skin...I was disappointed. But the blush and highlight are fabulous! I like the contour formula, they just picked the wrong color.

I believe they're only sold at Walmart. There are two different ones and I have them both because one has a yellow powder that I used for my undereyes and the other one has a cooler toned contour color that works better on my fair skin. They're so inexpensive it's not breaking the bank to buy both!

I didn't like how the nozzle on the Loreal setting spray dispersed the product, so when I finished and UD All Nighter, I switched the tops. Problem solved! Now I'm happy with the Loreal :)

another setting spray hack: if you want to wet your brush for eyeshadow application without wasting product, spray one spray into the cap and dip a clean brush in. can use for multiple shadow colors/brushes, and simply wipe cap clean or wash when you're done. No more trying to aim at brush and spraying 3-4x to get it right. :)

the same with me! The VS one is really good, but the mist is not good..:/ so i put the VS setting spray into the elf-container and it is perfect!! Btw, the elf one is really good- not as a setting spray but a refreshing mist before and after makeup.. And it works just like mac fix+! (Dupe, kind of)

Honestly, I'm really tired of drugstore makeup lines lumping medium ad dark together. There's such a huge range of skin tones from medium to dark that one palette does not work for the majority of us. That "deep" contour would not show up at all on anyone dark. I'm Indian, so I'm darker than a tan but I am not deep dark either and there just isn't any drugstore lines that really cater to anyone darker than olive skin. And very few actually have foundations for women of color. It's crazy. They have 10 shades for light and fair skin and then 1 or 2 shades for everyone else. What's the deal? I want to like maybelline products but I just don't. The shades are off, the eye shadow palettes have no pigmentation and super expensive. L'oreal has much better quality and price and revlon is pricey, but has great quality. I've found myself returning every maybelline product I bought this year.

I just wanted to tell you that I noticed that the audio (the sound) in your videos is very low in my opinion. I have to turn the volume all the way up to hear you (and the sound is still low) unlike other videos on KZbin. Loreal owns NYX and Urban Decay. The contour kit looks a lot like UD three in one palette. I need to look at the ingredients on those setting sprays. Because if they are the same, I can pour them into to a UD white bottle for a better spray & distribution of product. Loreal own 32 different brands...scary!

While true, most darker women I've met favor highlight, like a lighter concealer color. Thus reversing the need for contour. In that case, they really pay attention to concealer reviews to use for that purpose.

I like a very light coverage, sheer formula, so I've found that BB cream is what I wear day to day and touch up with powder as the day goes on. (Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer is my favorite, but pricey) If you want a true foundation, the Loreal Infallible is my favorite.

+Shea Marc Jacobs re(marc)able, even though it's pricey has a VERY light shade! I got it and it matches me which I can never find. Also, the Loreal Infallible foundation in the lightest shade (the original formula, not the pro matte) is fairly light! If you want a great powder that's good for highlighting fair skin, check out the Ben Nye super white powder :) Hope this helps some! xo

can't wait for the setting sprays to come in stores in the UK, most of the ones that are available tend to be high-end and expensive. therefore it is really exciting to see some well known brands in the drugstore producing these products!
