Over looked the best green enchantress imo, setessan champion. Gets a counter and draws on etb not cast. It has done work in my selesnya deck and can't wait to use it in this one, been waiting for this sultai enchantment commander xD

A little interaction I love, (Not exclusive to Tatsunari decks but pretty good in them) Is gloomshrieker and kaya's ghostform. Ghostform doesn't care if it goes to exile, and then when the shrieker comes back you get back the ghostform.

There is an interesting interaction with mutate and keimi for multiple toads. There is also an infinite with freed from the real on sanctum weaver and self-bouncing enchantments for infinite mana and keimi triggers.

I made a Tatsunari deck right as Neon Dynasty came out and I was so shocked how much I love the deck. I was so happy to see Jimmy used him for the Game Knights deck. It was something I threw together because I like the color combo and had a lot of the cards already.

The only thing that bothers me about the commander is that the toad token looks nothing like the toad on the commander card…..just weird to me. I would have loved a token of the big frog but there’s also proxying lol

I play my Tatsunari Deck with Helm of the Hosts. Increases the draining with multiple Keimi but also gives me the flexibility to equip Doomwake Giant for example.

just slotted Estrid's Invocation into my Tatsu list. holy cats! it started as a Retreat to Coralhelm and did a ton of work with Bloom Tender and then flickered into a Binding the Old Gods. the timing of the triggers between Invocation and sagas is the bee's knees.

Love this deck teck. Ima make a deck for this guy. 😍 I also wanted to share that my g/f watched the Commander Legends episode n wanted to make her own commander deck. She pulled 2 Jeweled Lotus cards. I thought 1 was crazy and she pulled a second. I am having her pick my card boxes from now on. Ive never had that kinda luck. Tried sharing a pic on facebook but no one we have as friends understood how awesome that was 😤

My Tatsunari deck consists of plenty of enchantments obviously, but also creatures that have the Constellation ability so playing those enchantments gives me each value. I also have so other good frog creatures like Froghemoth which could help make it stronger One way that wasn’t mentioned is easy Ninjutsu activations since you can make Tatsunari and another creature unblockable, you can swap them out for a ninja and get some value out of it.

Blood Funnel is also a good include in the deck, I think. You should be able to generate spare keimis to fuel it quite often, and it gives you a meaty mana discount on your non-creature spells.

Ha! They actually mentioned it towards the end of the episode. Using Mutate to to change the name of the creature. It's not a super powerful build, but it can be explosive if left unchecked. The balance it tricky, finding enough mutate creatures and still having a lot of enchantments. It's like Syr Gwen knights/equipment. Your theme gets split between 2 card types and can make it tricky.

I've been running mine as a witherbloomish lifegain value deck, with wincon of sakishimas will (with mirror box) or Echoing equation, after untapping with bear umbra with a bolas citadel or reality chip/future sight flooding the board with enchantments and having multiple keimis to trigger . Love Dina and Vito in this deck as well even though they arent enchantments but having a second sanguine bond effect works wonders.

I just ordered my cards to complete a Greasefang, Okiba Boss deck. Plenty of ways to discard cards for a benefit to continuously use vehicles like Parhelion II over and over. In addition, Greasefang is great at keeping up fuel to keep Solitary Confinement fueled

I got tatsunari in prerelease and the card is super good there. I didn’t even play too many enchantments but it still was great because I just continually would swing over their creatures

Kamigawa Neon Dynasty was a great surprise. I'm excited and creating an Isshin, two heavens as One Deck, focused on a going wide strategy. During the testing process, I discovered something shocking to me. Removing all mana rocks; greatly increased the speed and consistency of the deck. (My playgroup has banned positive mana rocks). Obviously, this requires the deck to have a low mana curve and the highest MV card is Adrianna (5MV) and just 1 card at that value. I would love to see a video of the thinking process that takes place for the Games Night episode and then what goes out and what gets in after a couple of weeks of the release date. Great episode and an amazing channel.

Mutate on Keimi is such a good play. When Jimmy ( do we call him James now?) was talking about green enchantresses, he left out Setessian champion, which is a really good one. But on the mutate plan, Gemrazer, and parcelbeast really help you stretch farther in this deck. as for making up for the lack of card draw from the white pieces. Underrealm lich/ Tomorrow azami's familiar are decent bodies to work around if you can't splurge for other traditional sylvan library or Mirri's guile style draw engines.

Mana Bloom can be a good one to just trigger your enchantress and constellation effects and get back the next turn. Play it for G only and it will return to your hand next upkeep. 💪🏼 Riptide Chimera could be awesome for enchantments with ETB’s, like the “Omen of” cards, which I think can be good in this deck too.

I pulled a Hinata in pack 3 of my neon dynasty draft after having been drafting mostly Blue black with a small white splash, took it, ran a 41 card 4 colour deck with 6 life lands, with both wandering emperor and Hinata despite my heaviest colour being black, and I somehow took second place going 2-0, 1-2, 2-0, and a big reason is that every game I cast hinata, I won. It’s such an efficient creature for draft just stats wise and its abilities are all gravy. All that being said that’s why I’m gonna build Hinata, I kind of feel like I owe it a deck lol

I built greasefang. Lots of hate for that deck but i love the reanimator vehicle style. I use the enchanted carrige to amass an army of mice tokens or loop flagship or surgehacker to burn my opponents creatures down and with fiddlebender its really easy to find what i need. Super fun.

Something of a suggestion, instead of mono red modular grab that chishiro precon. That deck with some basic changes is extremely enjoyable and I think most people will enjoy it more than they think they will. I'm a blue, more control player and gruul is my least favorite thing, but I love chishiro

My first thought wasn’t tatsunari as a commander but in muldrotha’s 99 to give you a nice threat as you build the mana to cast muldrotha. After muldrotha is out tatsunari can be cast from the yard and keimi wouldn’t be far behind from one of the many enchantments muldrotha runs. I think you don’t want to build around the card with mediocre enchantments but use it to turn great enchantments you do run into board presence that is evasive and happens to drain.
