Great clip! I was at this performance with my family and we caught a glimpse of ourselves in the crowd.Such a shame that they are not holding the Tattoo any more.

This was a fine Tattoo. The Berwick Tattoo provided a more intimate setting than larger, more pop Edinburgh Tattoo. This was a terue tattoo w/o a lot of civy or filler acts. It provided a great venue for military bands and pipes. The setting was great. I saw it in 2004 and I think 2006 was the last year. Does anyone know if it will be revived?

This is world class, a thing to share with all. The Scots are justifiably proud of giving this to the world.

Scotland and England had lived in harmony until March 30th.1296 when Edward 1 of England decided to teach us a lesson by slaughtering the civilians of Berwick in a display of barbarism unknown until then. At the time Berwick was a wealthy trading town in Scotland. Some 15-30,000 inhabitants were killed. The three days of genocide were only put to a stop after a woman had her throat cut while giving birth. Even that was to much for Edward.
