We often seemed to have dramas on our own deco dives, once upon a time. But you guys didn't even get your gear snagged in the rigging, or lose your boat, buddies, or anything! The dive info showed your blend during the dive but at on the ascent, around 90’ it switched to 21 and stayed there for the rest of the dive. Why not use richer deco gas during the ascent?
@lingen21934 ай бұрын
They were on 1.3 bar oxygen partial pressure during the whole drive. Which is already the maximum allowable. At the ascent they were basically on pure oxygen from 3m upwards. The blend shown is diluent gas but that can be topped up with oxygen as much as desired.
@moonsword114 ай бұрын
@@lingen2193 you can also use 1.4 and 1.5 pPO2 without danger. Though I won't got until 1.5 here.

@jimmanihera77604 ай бұрын
Could be but no suer if engraved like Titanic name is
@rotkiW90143 ай бұрын
Od your removed all the coral that made the Britannic its home, the name would likely still be visible. What’s more, there’s probably quite a lot of the white paint still intact underneath as well - it’s still there on the Titanic so it should be present on her younger sister

How long can you dive on a Rebreather like that and whats the maximum depth?
@zackbloom4 ай бұрын
Rebreathers are primarily time limited by the chemical which absorbs the CO2 the diver exhales. Most claim 4ish hours of performance, but that is at a very high level of exertion. For the average diver a rebreather like that would last 10-15 hours, much longer than they would want to be in the water. The maximum depth is governed by a few things. The divers level of training and risk tolerance is the biggest one. The unit is tested to 100m, but people have certainly taken it lower.
