This is my first (and only so far) big perfume purchase. I have about a quarter bottle left of the 50ml. It's so cozy to me. I dole it for rainy and snowy days. And I wear it to bed some nights when I want to manifest productivity and growth. It's a very warm and rich scent- but some aspects remind me of simple, cheap indulgences. It gives me major trail mix vibes- salted nuts, m&ms, dried fruit. Also a clean pillow case filled with Halloween candy after trick-or-treating. I realize that those both sound like chocolate heavy scents, but this perfume doesn't give chocolate as much as just warmth and sweetness. It also feels more luxurious than either of those scent memories on their own. It's a gorgeous rose scent that- though obvious and present- isn't overwhelming. It does not project well unless I douse myself in the spray. I think in my two years of wearing this, I've never gotten a compliment. I think it's a fragrance for your personal enjoyment and for intimate encounters.

Great review :) I really dislike this fragrance! Not sure what it is that puts me off - I get something powdery, sharp and slightly rotten. I revisited my sample a few times, but just.. no. Maybe the sample I have is off , people do seem to love this one !

Yes I disliked it too for quite a while, I found it sharp also! It took a while for me to like it..

Tnx for reviewing this one Peter i have always wanted to know do you like it or not ? bcuz this my signature perfume , it has been 5 years i wear this one for every occasion. first time when i sampled PHi i hate it from first sniff then i started to like it more and more .It was so familiar to me , Maybe because i am Iranain ? we use alot of rose water in our foods . overall i think this is a masterpiece . i have more than 20 fragrance but this one is a gem 💎

Today is the day I appreciated the rose perfume, loool I was almost certain that it would never happen. Oddly enough, it's Amouage Lyric Woman. I've smelled it quite a few times, I think I even had a sample at some point, but I never liked it. Then, all of a sudden, I decided to smell it again and really enjoyed it. Is it a common thing for many fragrance enthusiasts to initially dislike Amouage Lyric and then rediscover it later on? Looolololol

I really like this one. But I don’t like rose dominant fragrances. I think it’s really unique and pleasant. Another rose perfume I have is Lorga Rose d’encens. It has quite a bit of incense in it. Those two are my only rose scents.
