This was one of the first songs I heard from nf, and probably one of the songs that hit home hardest. Coming from a similar situation with an addict as a “mother” raised by my grand parents, did years of supervised visitation, that line about sitting in a room with a parent he didn’t know, and someone sitting in a corner taking notes, that’s exactly how it is. And it’s messed up that things can get to that point. My mother is still alive, but still an addict, has been for 40+ years, and now that I have a family of my own, I need to worry about keeping them safe, and having an addict in my life isn’t the way.

Hey Tauri! Great genuine reaction to an absolutely amazing artist. I am a hard rock and metalhead and was never that much into rap for a number of reasons. However NF connected me back to the style. He is one of the most clever human being out there and produces amazing and relatable texts and when he performs them, he leave it all on the table/stage. He has no need to curse or belittle women or any bs like that. His die hard fans will point you in the right direction as to what to react next. However, please follow their advice and continue reacting to NF. Most song are about him and his life that was everything but easy. When I am down and listen to his music, I find the strength to carry on. Can't wait for your next reaction!! Cheers!

I know for a fact you don’t mean it and I don’t blame you 😂 There is to many people in the world to help everyone and that’s fine but after 10 years in the military it’s annoying to here “if you need help ask” knowing that people never actually care so I’m always skeptical of people saying if you need help ask bc most people don’t mean it at all

I can understand your scepticism, but I can tell you for a fact that Tauri has helped me. I was a subscriber, but wasn't coping well on a personal level. I decided to contact her. Something told me to trust her. Her friendship over the last two years has brought me back from a very dark place I was in danger of not coming back from. Of course, she did not know that at the time, because I didn't want to burden her with my troubles. But she opened her heart to me, and we have become great friends. I owe her more than I could ever afford in therapist fees. She's kind, fund generous of spirit, but no whiter-than-white angel - and honest enough to tell me if I'm being an a-hole. 😂💜

Hi Tauri this is the first rapp song I have listened to all the way through and what a hurt that situation caused. In cases like this it reminds of still mill pond and that person is like a stone dropped in the centre, all the ripples that come from it is all the people your action affects. That's why Tauri I only listen to your channel and follow because your emotional connection to this speaks volumes to the person you are and your willingness to help others. By the way this song created tears for me, and l don't mind admitting it and l have never used drugs or knowingly known anyone with that problem. Thank you Tauri for being you Graham

We all have trauma. As a child my mom made choices that destroyed our family. My brother & I have serious trauma because of choices she made. That choice led my sister to sui*ide due to abuse she suffered by my stepdad. We begged my mom to leave him but she didn't. She knew what he was doing to the three of us, but chose him over us. The choices we make affect others for life. Good or bad. This song reminds me of the horrors we suffered because of her. I haven't forgiven her. She's been dead since 92 but our generational trauma lives on.

Take the NF journey and you guaranteed good my subscription. God bless you! Btw it's nice seeing Nate bring out people's humanity. Emotions are part of what make us human, it's an intrinsic part of us and so often in the modern age many of us have lost touch of our emotions and our humanity. It's highly recommend "change" and "I miss the days". Not gonna lie I cried like a baby listening to I miss the days but I think most people don't really understand the meaning and reasoning behind why he wrote the song.

Men and women are missing God. We get mistreated by others that say they love us, and we've made them into something they're not. Usually couples look towards one another to complete the emptiness inside. But, every human is flawed and sinful and if you're looking at a human being to complete you and not Jesus Christ, then you'll be disappointed on daily loop. You'll fill that emptiness with sex, drugs, people, work, whatever, but you will always be lonely if you don't run to your heavenly Father. My wife and I built our marriage on the foundation that God is TRUTH and we are not. So, when I let her down by not doing some little thing, like replacing the toilet paper, while she might get upset it won't fester and become something larger down the road. Instead she and I will turn to forgiveness through the same Jesus that forgave us when we did stupid things.
