Taurus 608 Double Action Revolver .357 Magnum Ported Barrel Review

I wanted this gun for so long and I was so happy to add it to my collection!
Next video I upload you will see me shooting it extremely far from the target and still hitting it

Its one of the best 357 magnums its got 8 shots in the cylinder & its heavier than most other revolvers & its large what's not to love about it? 😆 It really is one of the 357 magnums in my opinion just for having 8 shots alone let alone the design. The design is similar to a Smith & Wesson clone

Good video man. That revolver fits your big hands great. I have a 605 snub nose. It’s tiny but great for mowing and light woods walks.

Thank you! Yeah it definitely does. It took me a second to get use to because of how big it looked at first lol. But, that’s awesome! I was actually looking into getting a 605 so it’s funny that you say that. Well it was between that and the Taurus 856.

Great gun! I have the 6.5" version, I have a thing for big ass hand cannons. Check out the website Craftholsters if you're looking for a custom made holster that fits the 608. They can be a little on the expensive side, but they make some pretty amazing, sturdy leather products. Had a holster + a shoulder rig made for the Taurus 1911 stainless.

great review man. / However, your Decock method is absolutely missing a key factor. you need to release the trigger before totally lowering the hammer. this allows the transfer bar to drop down below the firing pin without having contact with the hammer. failure to follow this procedure (as described in the user's manual) can, has, and very likely will, result in a negligent discharge as a result of a light primer strike. thanks

Would you exchange it for another Taurus gun & some cash? I have a Taurus 605 I wanna get the bigger one 608. Maybe just have both the 605 as a back up gun and for small game & the 608 as primary and for large game

No, I wouldn't. I love this gun, and I bought it for a personal reason, but you can get them from grabagun I think the price went down on them a little now.
