So, as soon as I got my G3C I replaced the recoil spring and polished the feed ramp and made sure there was no “ledge” transition into barrel. Cleaned gun really well and lubricated. Shot about 300 rounds of Maxxtrxh FMJ and then a clip of Federal HST +P. Ran everything just fine.

I got a g3c myself about 3 years ago and haven't had any problems with it. Now I spent some money on it. I had my gunsmith go through it and make sure he got rid of any burrs and made it a smooth functioning as he can get it because I'm an amateur at this and I didn't want to mess up a new gun. I've got viridian Green dots on it and an X5L laser light and video camera. I've even got 6 25 round clips! I found a nice alien holster that accommodates everything very well. I even got a threaded barrel and replaced the inside springs with all stainless and metal parts no plastic. This is about a $1,500 gun now. This wasn't necessary to make it run right I just tend to be that way I tend to trick everything out is much as I can. I do not want to leave anything to chance because I carry this as one of my backup weapons. I do private security and I have people pull guns on me all the time most of time if they're close enough I never have to draw mine but if they're more than 10 ft away I'm putting a hole in them!

They also make 33rd mags for it. They run well, it’s just for mainly range day ( not having to reload as much ) They make a 15rd mag for it, with a sleeve. That’s my favorite!

I've seen quite a few complaints about the G3c not feeding hollow points. The Taurus chambers tend to run a bit tight, but I haven't had any issues with mine. Your video reinforces that point. On a safety note, watch your trigger finger when you're not on target. The moment your sights come off target, your finger should be on the reference point on the frame.

I think part of the issue is a little bit of manufacturing lottery in how the opening is cut out of the slide. Some guns have the barrel a little further back or forward and I think that affects how the feed ramp aligns with the part just under it. But it seems like if it's a problem, polishing the feed ramp and/or taking just a little of the corner off on the part underneath it should fix it. If you get a feed failure where the round is stuck facing the right way but stuck at the front, look where it's hitting and that should tell you where you need to work on it.

Mine also has no issues at all with hollow points ( Federal HST ) It runs and cycles everything great

Thanks of that hollow point sacrifice test. Now I have to do the same test in the OEM 18 round mag with sleeve.

I’ve seen people complaining about the hollow point thing, I don’t even get it? Have 3 different G3 series and I’ve never shot 500 rounds through any of them but they all shoot HP’s just fine. I just think there’s quite a few idiots out there!

Love mine. Just cook at home a week and it’s paid for. Just one hiccup with some off brand crap ammo. Bumped the slide and kept running.
