For me the stainless guide rod is a must. The stock polymer guide rod is a known faiure point on these pistols. I've personally seen one fail basically bricking the gun. Another upgrade I'd do with the PT111 G2 (which I did) is replace the factory striker guide with a lakeline stainless unit. The main reason is that it disables the Taurus lock mechanism that they used on the older pistols. There have been cases where the gun will lock while shooting. Other than that they're pretty reliable.

I totally agree with you. I’m already considering making changes to my turo. I love the way my pt111 handles now. The trigger is a must.

@@SILKLIVIN I put the keep tinkering short stroke trigger in mine and it made it feel like a whole different pistol. I got the one that retains the re-strike capability just to keep it as functionally stock as possible. Even though I think re-strike on a striker fired pistol is stupid.

did FO sights, nothing else yet. Just trying to get used to a small 9mm, from a beretta service weapon, then I will see what improvements are needed. Guide rod and striker are next, probably Lakeline.

Nope. But to many pounds of pressure with the spring causes the issue. I had to change my ammo an polish my feed ramp

The trigger is the worst part of this gun for sure. It’s such a great gun though and so ridiculously cheap for the quality. So cool that guy makes those triggers for it it’s an absolute game changer. Where did you get your parts from? I want those fiber optic sights and that guide rod. Where did you get those?

Yes it is. But the pt111 had a different feature so you gotta respect the original

@SILKLIVIN pt111 g2 yeah, but they came out with a pt111, but it had to be recalled over a defective defective firing pin safety block, manual safety latch, firing pin decocker, decocker safety mechanism and trigger lock mechanism.

@SILKLIVIN alsp if you're having problems with your barrels, call lakeline themselves and see if you can get a replacement for your barrels. If you're having fitting issues, they will send a replacement for free
