Both Taurus and Hi Point are some of my favorite brands. My main pistol is my USP 45, but I'm no gun snob. It's the man behind the gun that matters... Dope video man.

Taurus may have the best value to price ratio in the industry. I have some premier pistols and revolvers, but bought one each fir my son and daughter, and three for me. Nicely done review sir.

On mine, I find no problem with the mag realease. In my experience with pistols, bigger problem was unwanted mag release in some designs.

I’ve had nothing but problems with mine, I’ve ran some Winchester ammo through it and I’ve been getting failure to feed in the middle of the mag, it’s fine at the start but then it fails to strip one from the mag then it either fails to load or the round takes a nose dive into the mag up until the last 5 rounds I think, I found that the magazine release nub went a little to far into the mag and may have been dragging on the rounds a little to much so I dremeld it down ever so slightly I also extended the locking block feed ramp a little and polished it, I need to get some ammo to test it but I hope it works

Same problem(s) with mine. The peculiar thing is I had no problems the first 100 rounds. I have 200 rounds thru now and multiple failures to feed and cycling failing to strip round from magazine. I have cleaned and lubed gun between each range trip.

@Nebsgame Thanks for the update. I'll try a different ammo, but I don't think that's it. I read a review on a Glock Forum on the TH 45 by a guy who also had the problem, he believed it was the magazines.

Hail from Central Wyoming! I would greatly appreciate it if you would not be quite so heavily Right-Hand centric! Believe it or Not there are a whole bunch of viewers who use our left hands to shoot, even though we are technically right-handed! You flip through that display oof the right side at Warp 9, so how about you do this again and show us the right side, at a reasonable pace? Cheers from the Oil Patch in Central Wyoming

For a first center fire auto pistol I am having trouble deciding between this one and trying to find a S&W 4516. The Smith is obviously the better pistol but no longer supported. That said the Smith is very unlikely to ever need parts other than springs or mags.

As always I find your reviews great, but anymore QC is out of control. I bought 3 rifles recently that had decent reviews and all shot terrible manly due to bad barrels. It used to be 1 out of every 10 were bad, now about 5 out of 10 bad. Customer service is almost nonexistent, and it's extremely hard to git rid of the bad taste of shit left in my mouth. I sent one back in October and still haven't heard anything other then my rifle is not repairable. One was sent back after 2 weeks with grooves cut all the way through lands down into grooves and its not shadowing. Groups 2-3" with all types of match ammo. I will be building my own rifles from here on out. Handguns I've yet to determine if they are the same case.

Do you feel comfortable telling which brand/model of rifles you’ve had trouble with? My “go-to” caliber for hunting is .270, so I have a few rifles in that caliber. But recently been thinking I would like to have a couple of 6.5CM rifles around for versatility. You could save me (and others) some time and money.
@accuracyfreaks44210 ай бұрын
Savage 110 trail hunter chambered in 6.5 prc barrel was like a washboard all the way down and something else was wrong they didn't elaborate on just Saud it was not repairable. The other was a Ruger gen 2 chambered in 223 remington. The customer service was excellent and didn't have to pay to have it shipped. I did finally get it to shoot and it does shoot well with hornady 53 gr. Superformance. I did have to shoot David Tubbs finale finish lapping ammo through it and lead lap barrel 2 different times to get it to shoot. Should you have to do this on a new rifle? Imo no.. but the .2s and .3 5 shot groups im getting out of it consistently made it worth it. Good luck and hope this info helps with your decision.
@stuartowens35069 ай бұрын
@@accuracyfreaks442 thank you! The Savage experience is a little unsettling since the 110 is their upper-tier platform. My brother in law just got a Ruger American in 65CM so I’m eager to see how it shoots. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

My tisas 1911 duty review is, you get what you pay for. Had to re-machine the feed ramp, angle was way off. Had to do some work on the barrel ramp and the extractor. Gun would not function before the work and now it eats anything I feed it. Barrel to bushing fit is horrible also, im mean horrible.

My first one had to go back for FTFeed and jamming problems. Taurus replaced that one and the new one had problems also. Just got that one back from Taurus today. They said they replaced both mags and the recoil spring assembly. Thinking about offing it cheap without even firing it again.
