Taurus TX22 OEM Extractor issue and 2000 round count.

Clean the magazines when new. Coat the inside with Lucas SLick Mist SPeed Wax. Make sure you let the Slick Mist dry and then wipe the inside of the magazine down with a small cloth. The SLick Mist will keep dirt from sticking and allow a really smooth movement of the 22's inside the magazine without sticking. I also replaced my extractor with the Tandemcross Eagle claw extractor when the gun was new. Also replaced the trigger with the Tandemcross trigger.....best mod for the Taurus TX22. Second best mod....Galloway Precision guide rod and spring....the 10% less stiff spring, Allows for cycling of sub sonic rounds too. Really really nice. After about 7K rounds....not one mis feed or other problems other than 1 round that refused to fire even in my bolt action rifle. Eagle claw looks like brand new still after 7K rounds.....no chipping or other wear marks. The trigger makes this gun feel like a high quality gun....Also added magazine extenders to all 4 magazines I have. 21 rounds total now. 21 rounds of total fun!!!!! Best 22 pistol I own.

My wife's TX22 doesn't even have a 100rds and it's having extraction issues.

Replaced mine with a High quality M-carbo extractor. Love the TX-22.

800 rounds through it so far and no chipping or gouge in the extractor. Looks like a winner so far.

I only have about 500 through My'n I haven't even had one malfunction, I did one light clean, didn't see any wearing or metal. Reoiled the rails . I could understand the claw or tooth having some wear , but not those deep scratches I see on your video shouldn't be there . If anything I would say the casings are sticking in the chamber causing excessive extractor wear. Before I bought the tx I watched alot of videos of guys that had some problems, running led bullets rapid fire caused the groves to clog in the barrel, the symptoms were loose groups and key holding because the bullets not spinning so it starts tumbling in the air on its way to the Target. So I've only run copper coated ammo CCI Mini mags 1235 ftps. Not any problems so far.
