I'm beginning to learn music theory. Why do the chords at 4:13 and 4:14 sound like they don't belong to the key?

Maybe because they are "diminushed" and the left hand does the 3rd and the 5th note of that "base" instead of the 1st. I don't know if i explained that the right way, sorry.
