Yes we are so so blessed, I live in the city of New Bedford, where Tavares is from. I love them too. Originally I’m from Everett, Massachusetts, but moved to New Bedford 36 years ago. I’m 73 now. This Community is Portuguese and Cape Verde. Warm wonderful people. I’m American Italian decent. Grew up listening to Tavares, dancing to the music, not knowing the history. My daughter yesterday surprised me with tickets for Mother’s Day 2023, to see a live performance of Tavares, here in New Bedford at Zeiterion Theater. She said they sold out in 15 minutes. They booked a second show, it also sold out. We are blessed, people need to hear and enjoy this music, after all the Country has been through. Glad Tavares is giving us that chance. Hope it’s recorded live that day, so others can enjoy too. Best wishes♥️♥️🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

I was lucky enough to see these wonderful amazing brothers at the peak of their heyday in the 70's at a completely sold out concert in a famous college concert hall. I only got to see and hear them once over many years but it was a night I will never forget! Those voices could break glass! Unbelievable! I had no tickets for the show, but myself as well as several others bravely and a little foolishly - crawled in the upper men's room window of the hall, jumped some 10+ feet to the floor, and managed to sneak in. Was well worth the hurt arms and legs....
