If you’ve properly met Freddie you’ll know he’s a very hard worker and someone who genuinely wants to please his supporters and fans, but he is only human! Florida is like 8+ hour flight and 5 hour time difference. After arriving on a Friday it would be non stop the entire Petrolheadonism weekend til he flew back on the Monday. I get people’s attention spans get shorter as we are all getting so used to instant gratification of stuff, as technology gets faster and more advanced, but we forget, our 2 hands are the limiting factor here and we can only be in 1 place at 1 time. Some appreciation of what we are getting goes a long long way for these content creators 🙏

Fascinating chat!!! However this all boils down to advertiser ROI. The market dictates the price. This is a match point between the creator & the business. Basic economics! However where I disagree with Freddy is the cost of losing a sponsor isn’t just the cash lost due to the lack of that agreement with that one sponsor. It’s the cost to Freddy to find another (& another & another if you once again don’t reach agreement) 😉

Great podcast Just as feedback, whatever noise supression software is being used, it's being far too aggressive where it makes the audio kinda awkward to listen to, the trade off from having some negligible background noise to the severe distortions of the voices are likely not worth it imo

I've shipped a lot of Alfa Romeo and Ferrari stuff to the usa, at one point there were so many crashed high end cars over there the numbers were getting close to the ones on the road here, that's how much bigger the market place is in the USA.. BONKERS! I personally wouldn't have bought another rear sub frame, fabricating one would be a cool prospect, to improve things when they developed that car, the heat shields and various things were after thoughts it would be cool to solve those things. With an upgraded rear frame, the engine would come out easier, you'd be able to have access to headers and other things that would normally be engine out. But.. at 6k that subframe is head and shoulders best way forward. Don't go to the dealersheep, stealership :)

I fast forward (ads from presenter) and skip (YT ads) all adds on KZbin but have to watch commercials when watching TV life. I assume most YT watchers are the same. Do advertisers consider that difference when comparing YT and TV?
@geniferteal41783 ай бұрын
The problem with the P1 build there was never a way you could hide it. the moment you bought it, everybody knew. everybody wanted to know more. everybody wanted to see the end result. You were behind before you started. a TV show would have the whole project completed before they start airing all the episodes. You had no chance to prepare and then have a steady stream before the project even got started. You had to come clean and tell people you bought it and explain your plans right at the moment it started. There was really nothing else you could do. It's the nature of The Times. everybody knows what everybody's doing before they announce it.

SEE !!! this pod cast is telling us exactly what I have been talking about for a couple of years now. I am watching these KZbinrs on air, in their videos saying to us and acting like WTF!! They can’t believe what’s happening, we all grew up only knowing you leave school you go to college and the one who has the highest grades gets the good jobs and earn the best money. But this KZbin and video streaming has completely thrown all that out the window. Stop kidding yourself, there is no way in the world these guys would have what they have if not for KZbin, they would be just like everyone else , no matter how hard they work, look at Matt Armstrong, if not for KZbin he would only be making money on what he gets for selling the car he just built, and the buying and selling the houses he renovates, these things don’t come close to what he gets from doing video streaming and advertising.
@DaftyBoi4123 ай бұрын
Are you Tavaris's new therapist? 😅✌️
@Enidbagnat20 күн бұрын
Let’s be real here, it doesn’t matter who you are or what your content is. none of these guys would be raking in the money like they are making, if KZbin didn’t exist. Yes they work hard and yes they would have a good income regardless if KZbin existed. But not even close to the money they are getting purely for selling videos through a platform, I am 64 and KZbin to me is just a new concept, I was early retired before KZbin began. I love these guys, I am a big fan of DDE and Matt Armstrong. I have followed them from the beginning. But I really hate it when they say if you work hard like us you too can be successful like us. That’s like Tom Cruise saying the same thing. The sole reason they are making millions is because millions of people watch their videos, because they are popular. So it’s not true to say anyone can do it if they work hard, there are heaps of people out there trying and not getting the subscribers. No matter how hard they work.

So when we have youtube red we don't see the ads like on normal TV right, and then woth you real life product placement ones y'all do, we've all seen the same ones from every youtuber, which we know you need them to keep making videos of course, we just skip them so does re selling the advert to the company how is that profitable for them?😊
