Dude I recommend supporting the exhaust with torque dampers or at the very least rubber brushes between the bolts and brackets. You are supporting it to the chassis after all.

TAVARISH ONE THING. When you have guests on your show, let them introduce themselves! They just kinda stand there awkwardly while you point the camera at them and they never know what to do 1:30-2:00. Make it more of a conversation, it will be more comfortable for them and allow them to warm up to the camera. Well, that's just my opinion anyway. Nice video!

1) the discoloration in stainless weld is oxidation, not imperfection in metal 2) if you know what is going on, you can weld flanges onto piping without ever having one distort 3) now that you have ground off all the ceramic coating, have fun keeping the pipes free of oxidation 4) those boxed in sections will crack

Sorry for the late reply. Your oxygen sensor bungs are now facing the wrong direction. At 3:05 you can see the O2 sensor bungs face upward at a slight angle. This is correct, and designed to keep water from stagnating in, on, and around the sensor which will foul it quickly. You must have swapped sides, because at 12:22 you can see now they are facing downward at a slight angle. You should have either left the sides the same (seems the welding yeti knows what he's doing), or be prepared to cut and re-weld those bungs.

Rubber grommets on that last welded on bracket between the flat stock and the frame! And I'll echo a few people below...that'll be nice and rusty real quick. At least prime, paint, and do a vibration isolation at the frame end to keep the weld from breaking and other issues. WAY TO KLUGEY THAT (the way it is).

In my humble opinion, you should have boxed the whole length of that back structural brace all the way over the bolt holes and drilled them through again. This way you have a weak point at the end of the pieces you welded on. It would fail there and fold in and would likely not have a good transfer of energy into the car chasis.

It's ridiculous either way. "This is nice and strong again" - Dude, it's now less than a quarter of the original thickness. I might be mistaken, but if my memory is right that means you loose over 98% of the original bending resistance.

Looking good, shame to cut up the coated part, but sometimes you've gotta go back and do what you've gotta do. Some might hate me for this, but seems like if you leave the bumper support boxed to the point you did, it will just snap right there above the bolts where the plates end. If You're doing it, You should box off the very bottoms with a couple of plates that have a couple of holes each drilled to access the bolts and that should make them much stronger.

I love your attention to detail. I see so many people do builds and when they show your around the car you see SOOOOO many shortcuts etc but not you my friend. Even way back with the detail you put into the raido replacement just as an example. Too much trav! Well done!! It hope it gives you years of driving pleasure and it takes down a few of these cocky mclaren owners haha

Will that exhaust bracket not make the car frame harmonize/buzz all the way thru the car? I guessing, but won’t rubber grommets fix that? (If it’s a issue?

Thayveen yoga right? Crazy! It’s getting harder and harder to remain patient. One week sometimes more between uploads. I guess it’s time for us all to move on and watch and find other new favorite channels with regular updates and content.
