These videos WERE interesting to watch. Now all it seems to be is just over explanation. Don't get me wrong over explanating things can be great but it's situational. Like for this video all I did was a watch a man grind down a piece of metal and talk for 12 minutes. Half of his videos shouldn't be videos by themselves. I'd much rather watch a video that spans over a few days and not have them daily then waste time watching this crap.

Frame mounted IC is fine. Use silicone boost tubing to make a flex point between the intake runners and the IC. Silicone boost hose is used any many high boost builds and would hold up fine and get that IC out of the way. Also as loose as that intake tube was when wiggled by hand id look to tighten it up a bit. You would be surprised how a small leak could really affect boost.
@snikwadRR6 жыл бұрын
Wait. So the runner mounts raised it an inch. And it looks like it's rubbing maybe a 1/4". Why didn't you just shorten the rubber mounts that the IC sit on instead?

Because it was hitting in the middle and obviously rubbing on the intercooler.

Just a suggestion, I would remove that aluminum crossmember and have it bead blasted (and possibly powder coated or clear coated). Cosmetic? Lol. That bumper is toast. If you expect that cheap fiberglass bumper to even last 50mi with nothing more than cosmetic enhancements your priorities are clearly off kilter. You need serious thermal reflection/resistance considerations before even considering cosmetic changes, or else it's 100% going to burn up next to those twin turbos. That was a stupid idea straight out of the gate.
@pb78706 жыл бұрын
solamisandwich05 I assume he’ll do something to protect it it won’t just be bare fibreglass
@solamisandwich056 жыл бұрын
I don't think he can. That "baller" pipe where the two turbos join is in such a spot that I don't think protection will make any difference. He'll need to wrap everything and add insulation/reflection to the bumper and still keep at least 1" between components for it to work, and with that joined pipe I don't think he'll be able to manage that. He should have went with a crossover turbo exhaust instead of joining them to keep them away from body panels as much as possible. It's basic turbo knowledge, and Tavarish didn't even think that one through.
@diggleboy6 жыл бұрын
Oh man, I'm so excited to see it out of the body shop and on the road! Can't wait! That wing looks awesome in carbon fibre with clear coat. Hope you'll be able to get the convertible top mechanism working soon afterwards. Keep up the good work!

This might be a stupid question but - wouldn't it make more sense to rotate the intakes down so that the filters point down rather than up? If water somehow ends up in there it will drain right into the turbos (bad) and fill them up rather than out and onto the ground (good).

BUT (to use your most-overused word, lol) puttin that bumper on is going to complete the look. So, here's what you do - normal days, head out with it lookin sick. When you going to cruise night, take it off and let it all shine!

Is that the hood release mechanism mounted where you ground the frame? Hopefully you left enough meat around the threads otherwise it will eventually fail. If the rear wing is beyond recovery as a carbon fiber appearance paint it the same color as the body it would look pretty good white.You should think about getting a vapor hone set up and do the exposed aluminium it would make a great video plus the finish is amazing. I really hate his cheap incorrect fixes... “I’m just going to grind this here” or how about you get smaller bushings or remove them altogether considering you don’t need them... if the professional shop that built and dyno’d this car to 1000whp didn’t put it there I don’t think you need to...
@curseofthegreat6 жыл бұрын
bflo716 how about it’s not your car, just enjoy it. No one is holding a gun to your head making you watch this video. Of all the things, you critique the man’s use of a grinder? Would you take your car to a professional shop charging $100/hr or more to do potentially the same thing? Before you commented, did you think maybe there are some issues with the intercooler being extremely close to a very hot engine block, which is why he put it on bushings in the first place? Perhaps your time would be used better elsewhere.

I have seen a few examples of 1st gen Gallardos that have the tops of the rear lights painted. It looks good and is certainly more updated... similar to the LP-560 version.

Been watching since the first video. I hope you put on a "prefilter" for those new air filters. They will make a nice difference since those are so low and reasonably exposed. I love your vids!

My 1990 VW Corrado had an active spoiler which came up at 45mph .. Supposedly to aid fuel consumption by reducing the low pressure area at the back of the car at higher speeds.

Fixing the paint on the wing would be a good project for WrenchEveryDay with Andrew. When's that coming back?

What exactly were the button head Allen bolts holding down? Looks like you need a washer to hold down the bracket.🤔

Have you thought about fitting k&n "drycharger" filter covers like they use on motorcycles to stop them getting wet and really dirty , may be worth a look

In before 1 million.... But seriously, you're absolutely killing it. Picking up Fortnite as a sponsor is a great step along the way! Congrats!

Yeah i like the idea of the rear bumper for lots of reasons. One of them is leaving it open like you have it now, there is the risk of idiots coming along and trying to damage your car buy standing on the exhaust seeing how it is so on display.

The best thing in the world is watching your videos while eating popcorn 🔥🔥 Edit:Btw can you make the back bumper the same metallic color of the car so the car looks more cleaner and luxurious?

The “no bumper” look is wicked. If you could just level off or border/ frame just below the brake lights you could start a new trend

hi tavarish. Quick stupid suggestion that is not even important, but have you considered using a laser pointer to point to stuff? Only reason I say is because everytime your finger enters the frame the camera unfocuses and then refocuses really quickly and it's just a tad annoying. I first noticed this in the video where you were showing us the oil return lines under your car and the dark and light together made it really hard to see. Just something to consider
