What I like most about this, is everything looks simple, durable, and well thought out.

Major drool fest going on right now. This is the nicest hard sided truck camper I've seen yet. Really well thought out with no thermal bridges, quality lightweight material, and having all the utilities in a simple, easy to maintain spot. Thanks for the great video TAV!

Glad you like it! It is even more amazing in person.

I believe this is the most well thought out design I have seen, everything I need , nothing I don't. Subscribed.

So far the best job I've seen on a walk around/walk-through video of this brand new rig from AT Overland! Good narration and camera work of all the key features, too! This rates at the top of my wish list for a new truck camper rig (although I'm wary of how high the price tag might be); I just can't see anything that I would change!

I was surprised the dining area was not another bed. But sleeping over poop might put people off😳😎👍 good video!

I think would have preferred that the walls except for the front to go straight up instead of the taper. I think the windows in the bed area would be more functional in a light rain, etc. if the walls were vertical. Looks well designed though and has lots of good ideas. Putting it on my short list of options.

Nice design. There are a lot of things done well here. Not a big fan of convertible poo rooms though... prefer a dedicated space like a wetbath/half shower pan, or the dometic combo.

What type of warranty comes with the purchase? Really like the functionality of this camper.

AT Overland is innovating and I hope they continue to be successful. I like this camper very much but I would insist on deleting the toilet. Just wouldn't want it and it looks expensive. When I tire of my FWC Grandby shell, I'll consider something fancy and expensive perhaps. I live in Prescott, so there's that...

Although I like a lot of the design ideas, they could have put some paint or veneer on those exposed edges of plywood. Just kinda makes it look like a home build that someone lost interest in.

I think the Aterra XL is a very cool truck camper but it is a little expensive at $70k+. There are a lot of other options for half the price.
@Gazziza293 жыл бұрын
Yeah half the price, a quarter of the quality and about twice the weight. Your choice.

Tell them they best design a better entry step than an unstable foldable ladder. Liability waiting to happen.

$69,000 so you can sleep on a cheap foam mattress and no bathroom except for none biodegradable plastic bags guaranteed to survive in land fills for a thousand years.
@morgangriffith62263 жыл бұрын
@@jdollinter 8:25 addresses your concerns about the mattress. It's a pretty cool spring system under the foam mattress that can be adjusted for different firmness. Same system used in the German 50Ten campers.

I love this camper construction, but they lost me with the toilet mounted in the dinette. This takes it from possibly usable for 3 people to definitely not, since you can't access the toilet whilst someone is using the dinette. Bummer.

I find it odd that some product designers in this space “show” the hidden compartments? You’d think they’d reserve that info for actual owners as a bonus feature without general public knowledge
