I have a single slide 2004, and everyone, including myself, cannot believe how much space is in a camper that fits in the bed of a truck. Everything in my 2004 is still in working order. I would definitely recommend a Lance camper.

I bought my 2018 850 Lance truck camper new for full-time living. Still going strong. I can't speak to the quality since Lance was bought out several years ago but my model is holding up well. Made a few mods and upgrades but mostly little maintenance required. Enjoyed the video.

The deal killer for me is that you can’t access the inside with the rear slide out retracted. I have an older Lance and I really enjoy it but I’m thinking about a newer one with slide outs. I also tow a boat and I like to stop during long trips and make coffee or just take a quick break. I really like all the storage in this one. I wish mine had more storage. I watch a lot of your videos and will probably be coming to see you.

Great job on the preview tour. Looking forward to spring so we can try our 2022 Lance 1172 out. We have one warranty issue our rear slide out top cover has a hole in it probably from ice at the dealer so it has to be replaced and our propane tanks were leaking and the dealer replaced them. The Lance truck campers sure look the best that I’ve seen.

Now that Lance is part of the REV group get ready for your warranty problems to begin! My experience is with the REV fire apparatus and it's the worst in the industry. I seriously consider a Lance but with REV being a part of them and my experience with REV I bought an Artic Fox instead.

That is an engineering masterpiece. The only thing it lacks is perhaps couple more or higher wattage solar panels and when are we going to get rid of the tiny little tank water heaters and switch to on demand tankless water heaters that can run off of electricity or propane? I would also recommend putting the convection microwave above the stove top and switch the stove top to an induction burners and put a combo washer-dryer underneath the stove top. Do all that you can charge another ten Grand and then some. At that price range I would expect those plus as he rightfully pointed out the Blu-ray player LOL it is really amazing that it seems bigger on the inside than the out like the Tardis from Doctor Who. I am completely in love with this camper. Makes me want to go buy a truck just to put one on. And my dreams. I was just thinking with all that sleeping space and you're carrying this on a truck even with a double cab you still aren't going to be able to carry enough people to sleep in this thing. You're going to have to have company over. Most incredible truck camper I've ever seen.

I'm just starting to look into truck campers. I like this walkthrough and seeing every part of it. The main thing I'm not too crazy about on this model is the kitchenette space. Could the couch could be removed and replaced with cabinets/counter for more workspace? If not from the factory, then i guess owner mods is possible too. Also thinks for explaining some of the options. I'd delete the microwave but keep the oven, and not completely sold on the overhead bunk/storage option. Is the dinette slide controlled from the same place as the rear slide? Thanks for being so thorough.

Hey Brad have you ever heard of or come across a shower tub surround cracking. Our new. 1172 has 3 cracks in the shower surround. Noticed it this spring when we got the camper out if storage. We haven’t used the camper. Contacted my dealer for warranty replacement. Hopefully it gets looked after

My mom and dad had a truck camper about 50 years ago and we traveled and camped in it for a few years. I will say that truck campers have came a long way over the years. But two things for me. Number one is the price. To me being old school and an old fart that not just you all but every camper sales place that they are way to over priced. And second is I am not completely sold on these slide outs. I just feel yes they can work good when their new but after 10 to 15 years I fear they will be nothing but trouble. I now have a 2021 Nucamp Tag XL Boondock. I bought it because I have a 2020 Subaru outback and I can tow the teardrop with my outback. But I am thinking in about 3 years I am going to sell both of them and go totally living in an RV at some point. I love the space and features of this camper. I would be plentiful of space for me. But buying a 90k camper and having to buy a 75 to 100k duly to haul it I have enough in it to buy me a house. Your looking at close to 175 k. To me that is way to much. Thanks for the great video and it is an awesome camper but I think I can get a pull behind and a truck for a lot less.

We just do what is offered through the factory, which is two lithium and two solar. Start going crazy with it and you’ll start taking up all your storage, which is already limited in a TC.

The Lance needs to rethink that kitchen its very bad. It has good floor space the bunk bed is a good idea. I think the waste of space is the room given to bathrooms. Its the least used room. Rethink the floor plan give that needed pace to the most used space the kitchen. YOUR CAMPING.
