i have this device and i think it's pretty awful when it comes to detecting AC wires. It is overly sensitive and despite being calibrated beforehand, will sound an alarm for seemingly 90% of the wall, and even objects that I know for certain have no wiring.

Just got this and I must say it was worth the money. Just an FYI I got a 9v battery in the package. I didn't expect that since many reviews point out no 9v included.

This was amazing thanks a ton man. I was looking for a video who can explain the AC indicator warning. Question : if the AC warning indicator (the triangle warning)is on and I find a center of the stud I can still hammer a nail there right ?

good video but the stud finder is the worst ive used.

Its the only one Ive used and it seemed useless. Very inconsistent, and despite supposedly finding the center of a stud(which i checked at least 5 times before actually drilling), there was no stud there lol Just emptiness. Maybe I need more time with it
