join us in this road-trip to see the amazing landscapes of Arunachal Pradesh.
A never to be forgotten road trip to Tawang, should definitely be in the bucket list of every travel lover.
We decided to drive to Tawang from Tinsukia on #tataaltroz with our car carrying a bag filled with warm clothes, some snacks for the road, a mobile for navigation and a camera to capture the moments, for our much awaited road trip to Tawang - The beauty spot of Arunachal Pradesh.
On Day-1 we drove to Tezpur which is at a distance of 432Km and takes approximately 7-8 hours depending on the weather and traffic condition. We stayed for overnight in Tezpur and on next day (Day-2) early morning we started for Tawang.
Part2 of this roadtrip will be continued in the next vlog from Dirang to Tawang non stop. And the journey via Sela pass would no less than a divine feeling.

We are planning in the last week of May 2024...how would be the weather and possibility to see snow at Bumla. Also now, I suppose we can take the new tunnel.

Bumla is snow covered all through the year. Near bumla pass snow falls can also happen. Weather wise it rains frequently, but with both the Nichephu and Sela tunnel in service, traveling would be a lot easier with reduced distance and time. May be in return if the weather remains ok, then traveling via Sela pass is an experience in itself. Famous Sela lake and gorgeous mountain range. Sela peaks also remain snow covered mostly all round year. Wishing you a safe journey in advance.
