This is the fourth incarnation of the course and the best yet. Was set up by the ED who originally set up Ormskirk and lots of support from skem boundary harriers. The first couple of incarnations used to run up steps and round the back of Asda. I know i have a good day at the office here if i dont blow up coming up from the river. I do this one every couple of weeks to keep my hand in. Hope you enjoyed it. Its certainly a challenging Parkrun

Thanks for watching@@joannefairhurst6631. Yeah it sounds like a great challenge sometimes changing it up every so often is great, to stop people from getting repetitive. The last I ran Ormskirk I got soaked.

Hi Mark. Nice to meet you today and glad you enjoyed my suggestion. If you fancy venturing slightly further afield, I find the main Southport parkrun to be a good fast course despite its many twists and turns. There's also the other parkrun at Kew Woods which is a smaller trail type course.

Love Tawd Valley, a unique course across the north-west.

Thank you for watching@@cameronashton7150. Yeah it is highly recommended and probably overlooked.

Done this parkrun twice. It’s a very fun yet challenging one. It’s the one with the most variety of scenery and terrain I’ve come across so far - albeit I’ve only done 11 different parkruns Also for whatever reason this one likes me a lot. The two times I’ve done it I’ve finished 1st & 2nd. Never finished that high anywhere else

Wasn't aware you could get parkruns that blow through housing estates! This one must be fairly unique. Good run.

Well done Mark. That looked a really challenging course. I was mentally trying to will you on to catching that guy up towards the end. Amd the guy in blue at the start went off like a rocket too. Amazing efforts all round. How are you finding the new watch now you've had a few weeks with it?
