@@ZKP314 "mascarada" is Spanish for "masquerade". It's based on a typical costume for a masquerade ball, which is also where P5 gets its thing from. This is coincidence, it's not likely they based it on Persona, they just both drew inspiration from the same source

@@sleepingparappa I love Fuecoco and Crocalor and Skeledirge for 3 reasons, 1: I love reptiles with a passion if I wasn’t going into marine biology it would be hepatology, 2) I’m the biggest ghost type Stan on the internet and skeledirge is right up my alley as a fire/ghost, 3) MEXICO, I just love Mexican aesthetic especially dia de los Muertos art

What I like about it, and all of my favourite starter final evolutions, is that you can look at it and go, “yeah, that makes perfect sense, it’s a matured version of the basic form”. Then you have Incineroar... :/

That's what I've been referring to the 2nd stage of most/all starters, their awkward teens/adolescence pretty much since Gen 1. It remains accurate to this day, and many tend to be conventionally unappealing, with a few exceptions (Floragato being the latest example of that).
