To all those asking about Arabic subtitles, I should have them soon! I don’t use auto generated subs as they are not accurate…. So I have someone Arabic do them for me , then he sends a file for me to upload and it takes him some time , he is working on them and I should have them soon ! They are coming… it’s not an automatic thing unfortunately 🥴! But they are coming soon ! 👍🏼

Thank you for filming the houses in the old town of Mosul. It used to be the most well preserved old town in Iraq in general. These are all listed buildings from the turn of the 19th century or older. So preserving their traditional architecture is crucial to the local heritage of the city and the country. It is great to see the rebuilding effort by UNESCO and the local people, especially the women. edit: the marble is alabaster, Mosul used to be known for its alabaster stone or marble.

Thank you Emma for the great vedios you're posting. You made me think of visiting after 26 years of being far from the country. I still remember looking through the car's back window at my house and neighborhood while asking myself "would I ever comeback?" So many years have passed and many nights when I put my head on the pillow i still think of my town until I fall asleep. It's the story of a small kid loved his town and friends but grew up far away from the places he loved. Thank you for the great vedios again.
