I love how Tax stares into the camera when he says "He was genuine. He was being his self." Tax NEEDED the viewer to feel that one. X is DEFINITELY one of a kind. No equal.

That thing about kids who grew up around people that smoke crack dont touch it, is so true. It's the same over here with heroin, one generation will get addicted to it and there is a heroin epidemic in the area, the next generation grows up around those addicts and sees what it turns people into and stay away from that shit. The generation after that have never really been exposed to addicts like that and so 20 years after the last epidemic there's a new one for the new generation.

@SankofaNYC3 жыл бұрын
Ehh... idk... I don't think it did... This is still valid... X is still the man and he was still genuine... I think you might be focusing on the crack part, and not the part of him praising X for being himself... I don't think he is saying that he WANTS DMX to do crack, I think he is saying that he isn't going to judge him, disrespect him, or look down on him for it, and I think that's valid... Tax won't ever have to worry about anyone saying he is showing fake love to X just cause he died... Cause, here he is years earlier showing love, flaws and all
@GrimspecteR.3 жыл бұрын
@@SankofaNYC I don’t think you even understood my point so I’m going to spell it out for you. Taxstone literally said “DMX can do all the crack he wants and I’ll still love him” it’s even in the goddamn title of the video... DMX’s life was RUINED by crack, if it wasn’t for crack he might have been THE best rapper of all time. The man had the most unique voice for rapping I have ever heard and was a great lyricist in many of his tracks. He was the first rapper to have 2 platinum albums in just one calendar year in 1998. If he didn’t do crack he would have had his shit together and would have just focused on his career in rap. So yeah, Tax’s opinion indeed aged like milk out in the sun because he said that DMX can do all the crack he wants but in reality the crack was his downfall and PART of the reason he died. Several close friends of DMX have said in a few videos I have watched here on KZbin after he died that he used crack again shortly before he died and that made his heart go overboard and ultimately had a heart attack because of the crack. Essentially Tax didn’t give a single fuck about DMX using crack even though it played a HUGE part in his death. I stay by my original comment and that’s all I can say about that.
@SankofaNYC3 жыл бұрын
@@GrimspecteR. nah I understand your point... And I literally explained it in the first post I made... You really wrote all of that for nothing lol

@@SankofaNYC Alright then, so we'll just have to agree to disagree on this subject and move on. Have a great day/night.
@montegah Жыл бұрын
@@GrimspecteR.huh? His opinion is his opinion it ages perfectly for him because he said DMX can smoke all the crack he wants and HE (TAXSTONE) would still love him regardless of what happens to him. How tf did that age badly because you think his crack addiction fucked up his career? Did you know DMX was addicted to crack before he ever had a career as a rapper? Did you know he dropped both of those classic albums the same year while on crack? So obviously the crack didn’t ruin his career the way you think it did. It actually made his career and it destroyed him in the process.
